The True hearts dance

Finally the true heart's day dance was upon us everyone was getting ready for the dance I was applying a nice coat of mascara to my eyelashes hopefully making them pop.

Maddie was brushing out Earl grey's fur 'even a mouse can look good' she smiled.

Tying scarves and shirts together to make a rope to climb down our window maddie and I finally made our way to the dance.

Music was playing people were dancing and it was a hexellent time.

Briar, Raven, Hopper and I were stood around the punch bowl 'wow Briar you really know how to throw the most hexellent parties' Raven mused 'I had some help' Briar replied simply patting hopper's back causing him to stutter and turn into a frog and falling into the punch.

'Appreciate your kind cudos fair maiden' he said making the three of us laugh 'hey guys who's DJing tonight' Maddie said sliding in out of nowhere and picking the ladel that Hopper was seated on.

'We got the daught of the Pied Piper' Briar smiled 'Melody Piper' Maddie squealed

'What up Ever After' Melody said on stage 'ready for me to drop some true hearts tunes'.

Everyone cheered for her to play more music than follow me she said making happily obliging she started to dj causing mice to put on their shades and dance to the beat.

But Duchess had some not so happy plans 'psst psst' Duchess whispered trying to catch the headmaster's attention which she succeded at 'Duchess swan I am addressing the entirr magical community on a mirror net at this moment' the headmaster angrily said.

'I know and i'm so sorry to disturb you but there's something I just thought you had to know about' she said twirling around him

'Which is?' he questioned 'I hate to tell on my friends' she lied through her teeth 'but some students are having a secret true hearts day dance' she finished.

'Show me where' he said causing her to leap out of the room and him to follow.

Daring was entertaining three girls at a table as raven walked up to him tapping him on the shoulder Daring 'Daring can we talk for a minute' she said interupting his conversation.

'Of course, yes' he said with the three girls behind him glaring at Raven 'I wanted to thank you for the poem you left on my locker' she said.

'I never wrote you a poem' Daring said in confusion 'you didn't but it says right here D. Charming' she said finally the answer clicked and she gasped looking over at the secret admirer 'Dexter' she said.

Soon cupid appeared in front of him 'hi dex' she smiled before looking at Raven in the backgroung before going to sit next to him 'so not exactly a happy true hearts day huh?' she questioned 'why does my brother always get the girl its not fair' he sighed.

'Maybe you should stop thinking so much about your brother and concentrate on someone else' she smiled 'uhh who?' he asked 'you' she said booping his nose 'you spend so much time comparing yourself to Daring you forget your great just the way you are' she comforted placing her hand oh his shoulder 'really?' he smiled as he placed his hand on hers 'cross my heart' she said

'Thanks cupid' he said

'It was Dexter can you believe it is so sweet cute and I'm going to tell him that I' suddenly she was cut off at the sight of cupid and Dexter being all cuddly 'i'm to late' she frowned causing Maddie and I to look at each other in grief.

Somewhere else Duchess was leading the Headmaster on a wild goose chase to find the true hearts dance 'where is this party' the Headmaster said becoming Fed Up 'not much further' Duchess said quick to shut him up.

Back at the party everyone was dancing just as the song concluded give it up from Melody Piper Cupid smiled causing everyone to cheer.

'Now since true hearts day hasn't been spellabrated in such a long time I want to tell everyone what it's about, now once upon a time that grew up very special tree the Heart Tree and even if the winters were harsh and the other trees failed to bloom the Heart Tree blossomed no matter what and so our fairytale ancestors gave the blossoms to each other on true hearts day to show that even though it's not always easy true love will always find a way, and so to encourage all of us to follow our true hearts.' she said before whistling causing fairies to fly in with True Heart blossoms in their hands and drop them to all of us.

'Make sure to give yours to someone special to you' she finished 'can I?, Hunter when I listen to my true heart that tells me that you are my Prince Charming' Ashlynn said causing Hunter to aww 'but how can you be a royal and date Hunter?' Blondie questioned 'I don't know but if we're writing our own happily ever after doesn't make me a royal then call me Ashlyn Ella the rebel' she said making everyone cheer for her.

'I'd like to give this to you Hunter if you'll have it' she smiled of course he said bringing her into a hug 'Apple I'm so sorry I just had to do what-' Ashlyn apologized being cut off by the shock of Apple handing her a True Heart blossom.

'Why are you giving this to me?' she asked 'I might be worried about you and I might think you're doing the wrong thing but want you to know that we'll always be friends no matter what that's what's in my True Heart' Apple finished 'thanks Apple your the best' Ashlyn said.

'I know' Apple laughed wasn't really an apology but I guess it's enough for me if it is for her.

'This is literally The Best Day Ever!' Hunter said hugging Ashland from the side.

'I'm gonna do it' Dexter said hyping himself up 'don't be a worry flurry let's party' Maddie said grabbing Raven and I's hand and pulling us to the dance floor 'wait Maddie I wanted to give you this, we may bump heads but you're one of my best friends' I said giving her my true heart blossom giving me a big hug she thanked me.

I felt a gentle tugging on the bottom of my dress and I looked down to see Hopper 'I would like to give this to you fair Maiden' he said.

'Aww thanks Hopper" I picked him up in my palm and gave him a kiss turning him human 'now lets dance lover boy' I said tugging him to the dance floor.

'Hey Cupid you seen Cedar?, I can't find her anywhere' Cerise said 'oh Cedar had something royaly important to do tonight'

Duchess pointed to an abandoned creepy looking house 'there it is'.

Kicking the door down Headmaster only found Sparrow Hood wailing on his guitar with his band 'dudes trying to practice here' he said 'Miss Swan detention' Headmaster said fed up with duchess 'what? where are they' she whined.

'You totally got what you deserved' Sparrow sang while playing his guitar.

'You told Cedar the wrong spot because you knew Duchess would try to get it out of her' Cerise concluded 'yep' Cupid laughed 'but then she left me a note back in the dorm telling me the real party was here' Cedar sqid high-fiving Cupid.
