Jayden Pov

I decided to go to the doctor the next morning. I wanted to check with the doctor on how I'm doing. Last week, I was filling dizzy and he said that something was seriously wrong with my brain

*Knock Knock*

"Come in." -Doc

"Good morning." -Me

"Jayden, good morning. What can I do for you?" -Doc

"What's my real condition?" -Me

"The test shows that you have a brain tumor." -Doc

"What does that mean?" -Me

"A brain tumor or intracranial neoplasm occurs when abnormal cells start forming in the brain. There are two main types of tumors. They are Malignant or cancerous tumors and benign tumors. In your case, you have Maliganant/Cancerous tumor. It's basically cancer in your brain." -Doc

"Is there something we can do to prevent it?" -Me

"We can do surgery." -Doc

"What's that?" -Me

"To remove a brain tumor, a neurosurgeon makes an opening in the skull. The operation is called a craniotomy. We're going to try to remove the entire tumor. If we cannot, then e're going to have to remove as much as possible. Partial removal helps to relieve symptoms by reducing pressure on the brain and reduces the of tumor to be treated by radiation therapy or chemotherapy." -Doc

"After the surgery, what's next?" -Me

"Either Radiation Therapy or Chemotherapy." -Doc

"What's a Radiation Therapy?" -Me

"Radiation therapy, also called radiotheray, is the use of high-powered rays to damage cancer cells and stop them from growing. It is often used to destroy tumor tissue that cannot be removed with surgery or to kill cancel cells that remains after the surgery." -Doc

"What about the Chemotherapy?" -Me

"Chemotherapy or chemo is the use of anticancer drugs designed to slow or stop the grwoth of rapidly dividing cancer cells in the body. It may be used as a primary treatment to destroy any remaining cells, before another treatment to shrink a tumor, it can also be done after another treatment to any remaining cancer cells which in your case didn't happen." -Doc

"Some chemotherapy delivery methods include orally (by mouth as a pill or liquid), Intravenously (by infusion into a vein), topically (as a cream on the skin), injection, direct placement (via a lumbar puncture or device placed under the scalp). When chemotherapy drugs travel through the bloodstream to reach cells throughout the body, it is called systemic chemotherapy. When the chemotherapy drugs directed to specific area of the body, it is called regional chemotherapy." -Doc

"Is my tumor just on my brain?" -Me

"Nope. It's already went through your whole body, Jayden." -Doc

"What?" -Me

"I'm sorry, we need to schedule the surgery ASAP." -Doc

"Ok. Next month." -Me

"I'm okay with that." -Doc

"Ok, thanks." -Me

"You need to stay away from stress, get enought sleep, and prevent doing too much work." -Doc

"Thank you." -Me
I decided to leave the office, I can't beleive this. I have a brain cancer. How am I going to tell Mia? Maybe I shouldn't. But she deserves to know. I'm going to tell them what is really going on.

<Jayden is ctying btw. Tears is streaming down his face.>

As soon as I pulled up, I saw Mike and Emily walking in the house. How am I going to tell them, I finally grabbed the test results.

"This should do it." -Me
I walked over to the door, I didn't even know how to open it.

"Jayden! Where have you been?" -Mia

"Here, I have to tell you something." -Me

"What's wrong Jayden?" -Lauren

"This morning, I went ot the doctor." -Me
I started getting teary-eyed again.

" Why? Is there anything wrong?" -Mia
She's in her worried voice.

"I-- I-- I--" -Me

"Jayden! What?!" -Kevin
Mike grabbed the envelope from me. He took out the papers and he saw he X-Ray and some of the papers.

"Mike! What does it say!" -Mia
She was holding a tray of juice.

"Jay-- Jayden, has-- has-- a Brain-- Tumor--" -Mike
As soon as Mike said those words, Mia dropped the tray and started crying but she's very still. Lauren too, was shocked she collapsed on the couch, Kevin was also getting teary-eyed. Emily couldn't even say a word, she just burried her face on Mike's chest.

"Ahhhh!" -Mike
I could tell he was upset. I walked over to Mia.

"Everything will be okay." -Me

"Jayden..." -Mia
She hugged me and I could feel her tears wetting my shirt.

"What is going on? Why are you crying and why is Mike screaming?" -Ji
He finally saw the papers scattered on the floor.

"Jayden? Is this yours?" -Ji
I nodded, Ji turned around and started walking away until he started punching the punching bag.

"That was a Mega-Win!!!" -Happy Voices

"What the heck?!" -Jake

"What's going on?" -Emma

"I have cancer in my brain." -Me
I felt so bad ruining their day. Emma fell to the ground but Troy managed to catch her. Gia started crying as well. Jake hugged her right away and I could see that he was about to cry too. Noah ran in his old room and he came back with his tablet and oepened up a page about brain tumor.

"Maybe-- there's--- aaaa-- way-- to-- cu-- reee--" -Noah

"Don't worry, Noah. I'll have my chemotherapy soon." -Me

I really hope that this chemo works, I don't want to leave them yet. At least not now. I have Alexa and Emma. And my wife, Mia.

"Ji, where's Alexa?" -Me

"She's sleeping." -Ji

<Oh no! Jayden has a brain tumor! Oh my gosh!>
