I woke up to my door swinging open. I sat up quickly to see my step dad.

H- how did you get out of j-jail? I said getting out of bed quickly.

I escaped bitch. Your mom and Luke isnt home either. He said walking closer to me.

Jacob get out of my house now! Before I call the cops and your ass is going back to jail for what you did to me last year! I yelled grabbing my phone.

See. He said grabbing my face. That's not going to happen..

What do you mean- before I could finish my sentence he banged my head against the wall. Which made me pass out.

I woke up to someone shaking me. I look up and found Luke.

What happened to you-

Jacob's back... I said cutting Luke off.

No he's not he's in jail-

I thought so to but he escaped. After what he did to me last year... he's gonna do it again. I said cutting Luke off again.

Benny walked in my room.

Oh y/n are you ok. What happen-

Our abusive step dad. He escaped from jail and came here and put his hands on y/n. Luke said cutting Benny off.

Where did he touch you? Benny said putting his hand on my knee.

My face, and then he banged my head against the wall.

Oh, gosh I'm sorry. Benny said pulling me into a hug.

Luke, he knows where we live now. I said pulling away from the hug.

Y/n its gonna be ok. We got guns and shit. Luke said flashing me his smile.

Let's go to my house for now.
Benny said picking me up.

We got to Benny's house and Luke sat down on the couch by Luis. I rolled my eyes and followed Benny up to his room.

So what now mi amor? Benny said closing the door behind him.

Movie? I said plopping down on his bed.

Sure but get up first.. he said smirking.

Um ok fine. I stood up and Benny sat down on the bed, he grabbed my waist and sat me on his lap.

He picked a movie witch was 'mallrats'

After the movie was over Benny walked me and Luke home. But we were on the sidewalk in front of Benny's house.

Jacob was beating my mom up.

MOM! I yelled trying to run to her but Luke grabbed me and pulled me back. Before Luke ran over to them, Jacob picked up a brick and threw it at my moms head.

I couldn't tell if she passed out or died. Jacob laughed then ran away. I fell to the ground in tears in Benny's arms. Luke got over to mom and felt if she was still breathing.

Benny picked me up and brought me to Luke. Luke looked at me with tears in his eyes. I fell to the ground holding my mom. And sure enough she had passed.

Mom you cant leave me yet. I still need you. I said holding onto her tighter.

I put her back in the grass and kissed her forehead. I fell back into Luke's arms. I couldn't stop crying.

He did s- something Luke.. he killed OUR mom! We have no one else to take care of us! Our family is in Florida! I said still broken down in tears.

I know y/n! He said pushing me off him. Shes gone! He yelled wiping his eyes and walking into the house.

Benny crawled over to me and grabbed me.

Y/n.. I'm so sorry I know what it feels like. I lost my dad in a car crash when I was younger. But you.. you had to watch your mom die.. Benny said hugging me tight from behind.

I didnt say anything for a few moments.

It's all his fault. I said leaning my head against Benny's chest.

I heard sirens coming down the road. I didnt bother to look. All I looked at was my mom laying in front of me.

I got out of Benny's arms and leaned over my mom.

I'm so sorry momma. I said kissing her forehead again. Tears fell on her face. I wiped them off her. But I broke down again and fell into Benny's arms.

The ambulance finally reached my house. They put my mom on those bed things. And put her in the car.

They asked me a few questions then drove off.

This made me sad writing. If you lost your mom I understand it hurts but you will get threw it. I didnt lose my parents. I lost my both of my grandma's..
