"Well goodbye Garfield. I'll see ya after work. Okay? I love you. " John says, then leaves, smiling back at Garfield and leaving Garfield and the dog alone at the house. For the rest of the day, Garfield can't stop thinking about the kiss and how John said "I love you". God being is already way better than being human. The day passes by very slowly for both John and Garfield. The doorbell rings. John enters the house to see the dog on the floor, dead. Garfield is on the floor, sobbing. Is it an act? John sees Garfield's bloody hands, and the bloody knife under him, and goes speechless. "G-Garfield ?" John said as his eyes widened, "What did you do to him?!" Garfield looked like a mess. "J-John..." He could barely speak, "I-Im sorry...I didn't- He-" He could tell he already said enough. "HE WHAT. SPIT IT OUT. HE IS DEAD AND ITS YOUR FAULT. " John yelled. He couldn't believe that Garfield had killed him. Garfield flinched, thinking Jon was gonna hit him. He kind of hoped he did. "Jon he tried to seduce me! I told him I loved you but he didn't care! "H-he tried to seduce you?" John stated quickly and quietly. He didn't want to believe the truth.

"Yes! Please Jon, believe me... I had to do this, I was scared of what he'd do to me..." Garfield started to cry harder, and grabbed onto Jon's legs "You didn't have to kill him!" John said in tears. He feel down onto the floor in attempt to comfort Garfield, for he was still in love with him."I HAD TOO!" Garfield's throat was aching. He used to be able to scream longer and louder as a cat! "HE WAS GOING TO KILL YOU!!"

"You should have let him." John said "I can't bare to see him go."

"JOHN NO!" Garfield was heartbroken. "I-I LOVE YOU!"

"Garfield. Y-you said you loved me ?" John said, still crying. Garfield, while still on the floor, looked up at Jon and said, "Of course Jon! Of course I love you" Tears flooded his eyes, he still lay on the floor at John's feet.(edited)

Jon reaches down . " Here , take my hand " he offers.Garfield reaches and takes Jon's hand, and as Jon pulls him up he kisses him. Garfield is shocked and doesn't know what to do, so he decides to kiss him back.
