"But why Winnie?"

Me and my friend Winnie were at a pub,celebrating her 21st birthday.of course I'm only 19,but that's close to 20 which is close to 21 soooo...yeah I technically have an excuse.anyways,New Years Eve was just around the corner.Winnie was more excited about New Years then me,mainly cause her and her boyfriend Owen are moving in together.meanwhile I've barely done anything,I still live with my parents.i want to start a band,but I can't afford it."all I'm saying is that if you found someone who had the same interests as you you could benefit from that!like,maybe you two could form your own band."she said,"pffft,what?you want me to be like Sonny and fucking Cher?"I asked."Hey!I'll have you know that they were an iconic couple in the 70's!"Winnie defended them,yeah she really likes Cher.

He then proceeded to play an epic guitar solo.now I've heard this song before,it's Love Buzz.it was written by Robbie van Leeuwen and first released by the Dutch rock band Shocking Blue in 1969,but I've never heard a cover of this song."Christine?Christine?"I heard Winnie calling my name,but I ignored her and focused on the band.i was absolutely mesmerized by the music,and especially by the lead singer.

He played the epic guitar solo again,this time we locked eyes.he blushed and so did I,i immediately looked away."ok,what was that all about?"Winnie asked,I looked at her."I think that guy's a siren."i said,my face still red."pffft,what?"she asked,"I was completely mesmerized by the music,and that guy..."I trailed off.she gasped,then she squealed."thank you god!"she cheered,I looked her in confusion."what?"I asked in confusion,she grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and pulled me closer to her."you have a crush on that guy!"she exclaimed,grinning.i widened my eyes,"what?no way."I denied it as I pulled away from her.she giggled like a school girl,"you have a crush on that guy!"she sang."i don't even know his name Winnie."I said as I heard the song end,"well let's get to know the band then!"Winnie said as the audience cheered.
