Nighttime fell on Aberdeen.Kurt tapped his foot as he waited near Christine's open window,he was hiding in her room and waiting for Christine.she was currently lying to her parents about where she was going,Kurt wanted to smoke so badly but he held it in as he began to itch his knuckles.he the heard Christine's front door close,that was the signal.Kurt immediately hopped out of the window and landed on the grass,he managed to close the window even though he wasn't that tall."you ready?"Christine whispered,Kurt nodded.they held hands and began to make their way to Krist's apartment,as they walked down the street Kurt took out a cigarette from his pocket.he put it in his mouth and began to search his pockets for his lighter,but Christine was two steps ahead of him.she dug into the front pocket of his pants,pulling out the lighter.

"Thanks."he said,she opened it and turned it on.she hovered it over his cigarette,"you're welcome."she said as she closed the lighter.he took it from her and put it back in his pocket,he turned his head away from her and took a puff of his cigarette.he exhaled smoke and turned his head back at Christine,who was looking at the stars."Kurt,do you think we'll have to hide our relationship from your friends?"she asked him,not taking her eyes off the stars.he held his cigarette in between his fingers and looked at the stars with her as they walked,"I don't think so,I don't wanna anyway.Krist and Chad are cool,I'm sure they already like you."he replied."Winnie's already freaking out about us."she added,he chuckled.
