Me and Miguel went to her new apartment, happy to see her. Both of us haven't seen Sam in a while. We missed her.

We walked up to the apartment floor, and knocked.
Daniel opened the door, and I swear I saw his eyes lighten up a bit when he saw me.

"Come in." He moved to the side.

We both smiled and walked in, seeing Sam on the bed.

I walked up to her, and engulfed her in a hug, I was happy to see her. My best friend.

I gave her and Miguel some alone time, and went to speak to Daniel.

"Hey daniel." I said quietly.

He looked up at me with a smile on his face.
"I um.. I'm so sorry about what happened with Demetri. I-I was mad, and I don't know, it's not a good excuse. But I got kicked out and.." I started to sob.

He walked over and pulled me into a hug. I sobbed into Daniels chest, his body heat warming me up instantly.

I don't hate his hugs, but I wished it was Johnny that hugged me- wait wait wait, what am I saying? I'm dating Robby.

"You know, we should talk about the kiss..." he trailed off.

I sighed. Time to play dumb. "What kiss?"
He looked at me, astonished. I knew what he was talking about.

"Your birthday, when you came to my house because Sam was sick." He said.

I remembered that moment, he might have felt something but I didn't. My heart belonged to one person. Johnn- Robby.
Yeah.... Robby.

I had to come up with a lie. I didn't want to hurt his feelings, and it made it ten times worse that he divorced Amanda.

"Uh- I got wasted on my birthday." I blurted out. I wasn't actually wasted. I was sober.
"Oh, well uh-."

"All I remember is going to and leaving the dojo." I lied

He sighed, "oh."

The air thickened, and the conversation became awkward.

"D-did you divorce Amanda? For me?" I asked, looking up from the floor.

"Yeah, I thought we had something." He said, staring at his hands. I felt bad for lying but I didn't love him, that was nothing.

I huffed, wanting to switch the subject immediately.
"I like the apartment Daniel." I gave him a sweet smile.

He looked up at me with glossy eyes, "thanks."
It came out as a mumble.

He started to tear up, but hid it so quickly I almost missed it.

I reached over, and hugged him. He hugged me back.

DANIEL POV
I wanted to hold Y/N for eternity. She smelt so good, her soft skin and hair against me.

My eyes glistened. My chest tightened. My heart sank, knowing that we didn't have anything between us.

"I'll see you soon Daniel." She said

I nodded and she went to see Sam.

I sighed heavily, before going to my room and flopping on my bed.

I hugged the pillow, and took a nap.

ROBBY POV
"Class dismissed!" Sensei Kreese yelled.

Y/N had skipped class today. I'm surprised Kreese wasn't mad, especially now that Tory is gone. I guess she was devastated to see me and Y/N.

"Oh shit!" I screamed looking at the window.

"Yo, what's wrong Keene?" Kyler asked.

"Nothing my mom is outside." He laughed and walked to where Sensei usually stands.

"Yo, Keene's mommy came to pick him up!" He said laughing. Everyone laughed alongside him.

I walked out, "Mom what the hell are you doing here? Did they let you out of the meditation mental asylum already?" She glared

"Don't give me that tone, young man!" I could hear the guys giggling behind me.

"I have a week off and I wanted to spend it with my son." She said calmly.

I sighed. "What are we going to do?"

"I figured we can go out of town for the week. I have some money on me, enough for a small vacation. You in?"

I smiled and nodded, I had to tell Y/N.

I got my phone out and texted her, and she answered with a smiley face.

Y/N: see you soon babe😀❤️

I smiled, before walking back into the dojo, taking the suitcase I packed for when I moved into the dojo, and stuffing it in my mom's car.

We drove off.
