Chapter Two
Seems like you like this better than Here For You (Niam) but oh well, I guess we do have a shortage of Nouis out there. . .
Love, Em

"Guess what?!" I yell out as I burst through Louis and my flat door. As I suspected the flat is full of Eleanor's high pitched and mirthful laughter and Louis' laughter which isn't much lower than El's. I find them cuddled up on the sofa and snuggling their noses together in an adorable Eskimo kiss.
"What?" Lou asks, slightly leaning away from El but tightening his arms around her slim shoudlers.
"EdtoldmethatIcanstartrecordingtomorrowandthathe'swrittenacouplesongswhichhethinkswillsuitmebetterthanhim," I rushed out all in one breath.
"Huh?" is Lou's brilliant response, cocking his head sideways like a confused and cute puppy.
"I think," El begins thoughtfully, "Nialler said something about recording and Ed."
"Yup. Ed told me that I can start recording tomorrow! Turns out, that sneaky bastard of a ginger played my song 'Irrestible'--the one I wrote with Liam and Zayn--and they loved it!"
"So you don't have to wait at least six months?" Lou confirms.
"Nope. As of tomorrow, I'm officially a recording artist signed to Atlantic Records," I state proudly.
"Congrats, buddy!" Lou exclaims, jumping over the sofa to pull me into a tight bro-hug. He pecks me quickly on the cheek, our usual way of greeting each other. He's grown up with four sisters so he is very comfortable and open with showing affection. He really surprised me by pulling me into a bear hug the instant we met, instead of the traditional and appropriate hand shake. "You're gonna be a star1"
El has walked around the sofa in the meantime, giving me a kiss on the cheek and hug as well. "I knew you could make it."
"Thanks , you guys," I beam at them.
"I guess now is the time to share the good news, huh?" Louis says, something glinting in his glacial blue-green eyes. I just love how his eyes change colours the slightest bit. From plain light blue to intense sapphire, to hazel-blue, to green-tinged blue, and sometimes even stormy grey-blue. . .
"What is it?" both El and I query at the same time. Wait, not even El knows? They usually tell each other everything first.
"Today, this came in the mail." He holds out a formal-looking envelope. The sender reads: London Performing Arts School.
"Holy shit! You got the position there!?" I burst out.
Louis has been trying to get a position, any position really, at one of the most prestigious and newest school in London area. Basically, it's like The X-Factor without the drama but with a governmental budget. Each prospective student has to submit an audition piece in either music, acting, costuming, or whatever that deals with performing. The same goes for teachers. The school board examines each audition, noting the academic potentials as well as star-quality personality. Their principle is that even if the star-in-the-making has got all the talents in the world, she is nothing without an admirable personality to match it. And qualifying to study or teach there is a high-competition contest. They admit only a hundred students per grade (from Year Seven or Six) and have two or three professors per course. So yeah, you can say that I am massively proud of Louis at the moment.
