Thank you so much for being here! It means a lot to me. I'd love to hear your thoughts, feel free to comment!
A long time ago, in the village of Daylight Hollow, lived a girl named Heavenly.
Heavenly was considered a witch in some parts of town, in others, a prodigy. It really all depended on which people Heavenly had talked to.
The villagers who only knew her from rumors said she was “The Gift from the Devil” The villagers who knew her personally had welcomed her into their homes, giving her the name of “Heavenly”. The other side of town called her Diavola, which is Italian for devil.
Now, one thing you should know. Heavenly showed up at the
door of a seventy-year-old woman’s house when she was maybe two years
old. There are rumors about this next part, but most believe she showed
up at the Old Woman’s door barely floating off the ground, and glowing
like a star. Some say she was just carrying a torch, to light her way. But all can agree that the Old Woman brought her in her home as her own, and never took the girl outside. Or maybe she did, but no one ever saw the Old Woman or the girl. The Old Woman was not a very popular villager. She came to market every week or so to get supplies, then went back to her old cottage to do who knows what. The merchants always said the Old Woman gave them an extra tip every week. No one knows where the money came from. No one knows where she came from.Everyone just accepted the fact that she lived there, and didn’t want to be bothered.
Some people assumed she was one of the first citizens to move into the
village, as no one could remember a time without her. As I said, no one
really saw the Old Woman. Until a year later, when the Old Woman
passed away. In the week that followed her death, large earthquakes rattled the ground, damaging many buildings. Some even say there was bright light emitting from the Old Woman’s house some days. And here’s a curious part, she had left behind a note with about one million dollars, asking for the villagers to bury her in her garden. Hold on, that’s not the weirdest part.
Many of her neighbors chipped in to help bury her. They placed her in a coffin, sealed it, left it in the house, and went out into the garden to
start digging.Tim Marley, one of the neighbors working on the dig, said he saw
something glowing open the coffin and touch the old woman. Then to
quickly seal it and dart away. He later said it was the heat of the day
playing tricks on his mind. Some beg to differ. When the workers finished digging the hole, they turned back to
the casket to find the lid unhinged, and the dead body gone. After that, it’s all rumors.
Some say the girl sent the Old Woman to heaven. Some say Heavenly did something to her. Some say the Old Woman faked her death for attention, and sneaked off into another village. Some rumors absurd, some realistic fiction.
And what becomes of the child?
Heavenly doesn’t glow anymore. (According to some rumors.)
Without the glow, you can really see her features better. She’s quite short.
She’s got long, wavy pitch black hair, bangs covering her eyebrows.
Caramel skin. Bright orange eyes, and yes, I said orange. A small button
nose, and thin lips. Quite skinny, if you ask me.She’s a very quiet child. She doesn’t interact with people unless
she has to. She didn’t talk to people unless she took a liking to them.
Tall neck, narrow shoulders, flimsy arms, delicate hands, small
waist, long, skinny legs, and small feet.
The whole village chips in to feed and clothe her, and they all
have a rotation of who’s home she sleeps in that night. (On the side of
town where everyone loves Heavenly, called Heavenful by most. The other
side of town is just called Heaven-less.)No problems have ever occurred, Heavenful has gotten along for
three years now, until a certain mother started experiencing problems….

ParanormalHeavenly is a... curious girl. Many have theories on what happened, but I've been set with the task of telling the true story. Set in America with a hint of the victorian era in the 1840s, this paranormal plot is my favorite work yet <3
