Cindy's POV

"She's up!", I excitedly said to my boyfriend Steven. "Well... We got you a date Alex", he said to his best friend. "I told you I—", "Bro! It's time to move on! It's your chance to date Ciel. Come on! Have some nerve. Melinda is happy now with some other dude who she cheated on—", Alex interrupted Steven standing up from his seat, holding his glass of whiskey. "Man we have kids— I.. uh... I'm not suit to date a 20yrs old... I'm 32 man wake up! We're no match at all", Alex said. "And.... She's....", He continues but I speak for my girl, "but she's fine not like other whores. She's healthy and I know she's.... Not happy at what she's doing. She needs someone to help her out", I assured him about Ciel.

"So I'm gonna be a hero?", Alex point his self. "If .. you want to", I shrug. "It's your chance man.... We've known her since that bastard Jordan dumped her", Steven said. I remember that time Ciel came up to us crying and having some injuries on her arm and nape. She got so depress and addicted to alcohol and cigarettes. She even tried drugs and at that moment we can't keep her anymore. Then she ended up to Gina's house.... And now working her ass to live. But... She's not happy.... Poor her.

Alex pace back and forth, thinking if what he'll do will be fine. I hope so. Since he like Ciel anyway. Jordan was Alex' friend but when he found out what Jordan did to Ciel. He beat the shit out of Jordan for Ciel. Alex was dumped by Melinda 4yrs ago and took their kids, without him knowing. We found out she cheated and now living with that bastard.

"Fine....", Alex sigh rubbing his nape. "You're the best man", Steven said and lift his glass to toast for Alex. "I.... I love her but she's... too far...", He honestly said. "Yeah I know... But I know she'll love you back. She's soft and I know that side of her, she just not let anyone see her weakness"

The next day...12nn @ the tea shop

"What's the meaning of this, Cindy?", Ciel surprised. "Oh... Uhm...", I awkwardly look at the two. "I thought it's just the three of us—", "I wanted to see you", Alex interrupted Ciel. Ciel look at him with a look of 'What for?'. "Uhmm... We decided to have a double date to relax", Steven said and smile. "Yeah.... To relax....", Alex feels so awkward. "Okay...", Then Ciel sit beside me, facing Alex.

We enjoyed the company of each other, and I saw Ciel enjoying so much and happy. I wish they end up together. They're so cute and look perfect together, an immature and a mature one. I wish a happy life for Ciel. I want her to be free and happy like me and Steven.

After lunch we decided to go shopping for new clothes, but we're surprised when we saw Ciel trying a black crop top tube pair on mini skirt dress with a print of white ribbon and there's a cute little ribbon on the crop top. She look so hot and innocent. It combine on her curly brunette hair.

"Wow....", I heard Alex muttered and Ciel was a bit embarrassed. She's blushing thou. "That looks gorgeous!!!", I said to her. "But...—", I cut her off, "That's my gift for you! Isn't she beautiful?", I look at the men. "Yeah...", They answered. I saw Ciel smile and a little embarrassed. "Thank you", Ciel smile at me. "You're always welcome", I smile.

After the date and it's already 5pm. I know Ciel will go back to her work now. "Oh shi— I'm sorry Cindy", I nod. "Yeah we know, just always take care of yourself", I smile. We walk back to our car and Ciel hop on Alex' car.

Ciel's POV

This is so surprising.... We dated.... I dated him. "Um....", I look at Alex. "What is it?", I asked. "If ever... Can we have... Date? Um only the two of us...", Is he really asking me? "You know... About my work right?", "I don't care— I'll do everything to make you quit that job", he said confidently. "Are you insane? You know I can't— and I.... I'm not the right woman for you even thou I like you", I got caught there. Did I just confess? Wtf?!

"What did you say again?", He asked leaning closer to me. "I... I said okay we're going to date again", I panicked. He's face too close! Geez! "Oh okay... Can I have your phone number?", He gave me his phone and I dial my number. He then drive me back to house. I saw Mr. Houston's car on the drive way. And I tried to call Gina but she's not answering... Maybe they're at her room doing business. I sigh and Alex look at me. "What's the matter?", "They're busy, I can't interrupt them", I look at him and he nod. "Wanna go somewhere?", I checked my bag. At least I have my so called uniform, I'll just take a bath in the bar. "Just drive me near the tea shop", "I'll just drive to you work place—", "You can't.", "Why?", He asked confused. "You just can't. If my boss find out I'm dating he'll kill me"

I admit why I can't  leave this job. There's a consequence, once they found out I'm going to leave they'll beat me up to the point I'll change my mind. And I don't want that.... "Please, it's none of your business and I don't want you to get involve", I plea and hop off his car.

I know how complicated my life is and I hate it.
