"So are you excited to see our room?" Junhui asked, feeling the urge to talk to Minghao. His heart was beating fast with hope that Minghao would be nice to him and continue the conversation.
"Uhh is there anything to be excited about? We have to go through the hassle of moving houses and living with a stranger." Minghao replied nonchalantly.
"Well at least he didn't get mad this time," Junhui thought to himself.
"Oh yeaaah, sorry..." Junhui awkwardly responded while taking out his phone trying to forget about the incident.
Minghao's pant pocket started vibrating, he'd gotten a text.
Yanan
Hey it's Yanan let's meet now.
Minghao
How did you get my number???Yanan
That's besides the point.Minghao
Where are we meeting?Yanan
The rooftop in 5 minutes.
Minghao
I'm coming."Hey Junhui, I need to stop by somewhere so you can go without me. Also can you take my luggage inside along with yours?" Minghao asked in a dull tone while staring at his phone.
"Yeah sure..." Junhui replied sort of cheerfully trying to hide his dejection with a fake smile.
"Does he really hate me that much? He's probably just using an excuse to get away from me. The reply he gave me to my question before, "living with a stranger" he said that was a negative part of college, maybe because the stranger is me." Junhui's mind was rushing with thoughts as he tried to hold back tears.
"Why am I so sad about something like this, aren't I supposed to kill him?" His heart dropped into a void of sorrow and fear, would Seungcheol and Jeonghan understand his situation?
Junhui needed to let out his thoughts and feelings to someone and the perfect person for that was Yanan. Junhui decided that he'd go to the dorm and organize everything then give Yanan a call. He walked to the dorm trying to forget his feelings for a bit and take in the atmosphere of the college. The excitement of seeing the dorms made his feelings die down a bit, though they still lurked in his heart.
Junhui moved all the bags away from the door and took the keys from the bag and opened the door. He was surprised to see how stylish the dorms were, it looked even better than his old apartment. He moved the bags into the entry hall, quickly took his shoes off and started to explore. He bolted through the what seemed like an endless trail of charcoal grey tiles into the living room. Most of the furniture was grey just like the tiles, otherwise black or white, the only things that weren't were the plants hanging from the ceiling and in pots on the ground.
In the living room was a long sofa in a darker shade of grey than the tiles which could fit the two and maybe even a third person. Underneath lay a grey carpet which felt soft and warm on Junhui's feet in contrast to the cold, tough tiles. On top of the carpet was a black coffee table with a book, "PROFESSOR BOO'S ULTIMATE GUIDE TO STAYING HEALTHY" and a pack of vitamin gummies. Junhui eagerly ripped open the packet, thinking it was candy and tasted it.
"OMFG EWWW WHAT DO THEY PUT IN THIS STUFF," Junhui screeched while trying to find a bin to spit out the vitamins.
In front of Junhui was a wall, which was the same shade of grey as the tiles, slightly sticking out from the other walls, which had a giant T.V. attached to it. Underneath the T.V. was a timber coffee table with the remote and some pot plants on it.
