Watching the portal close was painful. Losing my mate caused my chest to tighten to the point where it became painful to breath. My eyes start to sting from the tears but the pain was nothing to pain I felt in my soul.

"Son of a gun"

Looking to where to portal was I let out a relieved sob when I see Tony falling from the sky. The only problem is he isn't slowing down, and I still couldn't feel his heartbeat. Thor seems to have the same thought as me and stands as he starts to swing his hammer around ready to fly and catch him, not wanting to loose his new brother.

Hulk beats him to it as he jumps of a building and catches him mid jump and uses another building to brake his fall. Hulk turns and lands on his back with Tony on his chest.

I run over with the others and Thor rips off his faceplate off "Is he breathing?" asks Sir Steve when he bends down to check. Kneeling next to him I place my hand on his cheek again to heal him when Hulk lets out a booming roar. Tony gets scared away and looks around him franticly. "What the hell?" When he seems the boys standing over him he starts to look mildly panicked "What just happened? Please tell me nobody kissed me. Well apart from you I would never say no to you"

I laugh at him in relief as he winks at me. I lean down and kiss him passionately only pulling away when air demands it. The smile leaves my face as I hit his chest. "Don't you dare do that to me ever again. I can't loose you. I won't" A sob leaves me at that last part and he sits up, pulling my into his lap and holds me against his chest.

"Calm down darling. You're not getting rid of me that easily. I will always fight to get back to you" he says as he plays with my hair. When I do finally calm down Thor helps me up before holding his hand out to him. "Thanks sparky" Tony groans when Thor lets go making my mate fall back to the floor. I give my brother a look and he shrugs giving me a charming smile

"We won." I turn to Sir Steve and he sat back on his heels as he looks around in disbelief. "All right, yay! Hurray. Good job, guys. Let's just not come in tomorrow. Let's just take a day. Have you ever tried shawarma? There's a shawarma joint about two blocks from here. I don't know what it is, but I want to try it." Sir Steve and I chuckle at Tony behaviour. 

Thor and I look to each other before speaking at the same time "We're not finished yet." We both turn to look up at the tower where our bother is.

Tony notices after he finally gets off the ground and smiles at me. "And then Shawarma after." I roll my eyes and hold back the need to question what Shawarma is.  Tony grabs Sir Steve and flies him up to the tower while Thor grabs Sir Clint and flies next to him. Hulk simply uses building near by to jump his way up. I fly myself to the room of the tower and grab Lady Natasha before meeting the others.

Entering from the balcony we all stand behind Loki who was crawling up the steps. "If it's all the same to you, I'll have that drink now."

Something was different with my brother. I look closer and see that his eyes were back to there usual vivid green instead of the dull blue they where earlier. I smile before rushing over and pulling my brother close. "Thank the All Father your okay. I thought I had lost my brother for good" I pull away from him and look him in the eyes. I use my magic to invaded his mind and look through his memories. Loki could have pushed me away but he lets me.

"Brother who did this to you?" Thor asks after he remember what we had discovered on the ship. He sounds as if he was going to cry when he kneels in front of his brother, putting a hand on his shoulder. Loki looks to me for reassurance and I pull my baby brother close and kiss his temple. I used to do this when he was a child and he would crawl into my bed when a storm scared him. While our mother loved him dearly, Odin was more debateable, Mother had once admitted that the love she held was more of that of a grandchild then a son. And that was because he had always clung to me as an infant, I had gladly raised him as my own. 

"His name is Thanos. He destroys worlds, much like his own, for power. When I fell he caught me and decided to use me for his plan. I didn't comply at first but then he put me in a heated room for a few months before using the power of the tesseract on me. I am truly sorry brother. All I wanted to do was prove myself to father, but instead I have done nothing but disappoint him further. Mother I am so sorry"

With that Loki turns to me and cry's into my shoulder. I was shocked. Loki hadn't called me Mother in almost 800 years. and even then he would apologise after and say it was a mistake. I play with his messy black curls "It's okay my Lokitty. I'm here now" He cries harder at the old nickname. When he was younger he always had the habit of turning into a kitten.

Thor moves next to me and cries as well. They both cling to me like children making me miss when they were shorter then me. I look over the team and they look over us shocked but quickly lower their weapons and relax their tense bodies. 

They disperse a little and do their own thing without leaving the room. Lady Natasha pulls a small device from her pocket and starts talking to it. "What is she doing?" Thor looks up finally having calmed down while Loki had fallen asleep on me. "It's a mortal device of communication. I believe it is called a phone or mobile." I nod excepting the explanation and he goes back to leaning on me. I shift my body to take on his weight without waking my son. 

I played with my Lokitty's  hair while Sir Fury comes into the room stepping out of a box thing that made a noise and opened. Sensing the new presence in the room Loki shifts into a jet black kitten with bright greenish blue eyes. I smile at the sleeping kitten and hold him to my chest, stroking his soft, fluffy body.

"Where the hell is he?"
