At the bottom of the hill, Tanjro found a hole nearby in which Nezuko crawled into.
"Hey Nezuko, I'm going to go get something for me to carry you around in ,(Y/N)-" at that moment I realized,
"Tanjiro I need to go uhh.. pack at my house really quick before we continue, you can go ahead if you want, I'll probably find my way." I quickly cut in.
A look of realization appears on Tanjiros face before he nods at me, "We'll wait for you here."
I begin to start walking back home until Tanjiro can't see me anymore, in which I break into a fast jog.

Reaching Kokushibou and I's home, I bust through the door, panting.
Sitting in the living room, out of the suns way, is a annoyed looking Kokushibou. I quickly walk in and shut the door behind me before walking in front of Kokushibou and immediately dropping to the floor, on my knees in a deep bow, begging for forgiveness and to spare my dumbass.

Kokushibou gets off the couch and crouches in front of me. He roughly grabs my chin making me look directly at his face. After a few seconds of silence, I begin to look away from his face feeling more nervous by the second.

Finally after what felt like thirty minutes, but in reality was only a minute, Kokushibou speaks, "Why.. did you take.. so long?" despite his slow even voice, there's a slight sharp tone to it, although it's unlcear if it's from worry or frustration, most likely both.

Realizing I've never straight out told Kokushibou I have a friend that I've been visiting, I decide to skip the excuses.
"I've been visiting a friend.. for majority of the times I've left," Kokushibou makes no reaction, he most likely already assumed something of the sort,"and last night their family got attacked by a demon so.. he is going to train as a demon slayer and I.."
I finally look at Kokushibous face,"I want to come with!"
Kokushibou shifts ever so slightly, making me realize what I said," I uhm! please let me go with him!" I start feeling worried when Kokushibou gives no response.

A few minutes pass before Kokushibou slowly stands up, gripping my arms and pulling me up to stand on my feet in front of him. He slowly lets go of my arms and walks further into the house, where the rooms are, without a word.

Kokushibou emerges from the hallway and into the living room where I stayed completely still from when he first left. He's holding a moderately crafted wooden box, obviously not made by a professional but not to the point it looks like it was made by an amateur.
It was similar to Tanjiros box that was gifted to him by Urokodaki, but this one had an added on small design pattern, probably added on due to Kokushibous boredom during the day.

A few feet away from me, Kokushibou stands with the box in his left hand, he slowly raises his hand holding the box, "Only... if I come with.."

"huh?" I stare at him shocked and confused. Holy shit a predictable outcome in a fanfic.

"I said.. you can only go... if I.. come with.." He sets down the box between us on the floor, the small door facing him.
Remembering Tanjiro is waiting for me I try to hurry up, "Let's go then, he's been waiting for me!"
Kokushibou begins to shrink, 'He's committing a Nezuko but it's actually illegal since he's killed so many-'

Kokushibou begins to crawl inside the box so I carefully pick it up and put it on my back, "Sorry if it's bumpy," I quickly run out of the house and run to where Tanjiro and Nezuko are.

Seeing Tanjiro sitting by the hole in the distance, I start to slow down, "Tanjiro! Sorry I took so long."
Tanjiro turns to look at me with a bright smile, "Don't worry, I didn't mind. It wasn't that long anyways."
