I woke up to the sound of cheering. I opened my eyes and took in what was in front of me. A bunch of rockers shouting my name. I blinked. I sat up on the torn sofa and stared. They stopped cheering when they saw I was awake. "Rise 'n shine (Character 1). Today's your big day, mate!" My best friend, (Character 2), held his/her drumsticks in one hand, and both were near his/her face under his/her chin. I put my confused face on.

"Ww... what big day?" I asked. There was a short silence. (Character 2) dropped his/her arms.

"The big concert, mate! In front of the whole of (place)!" I gasped. I had forgotten all about it. I screamed and (Character 2) asked me if I was ok. A few people from the crowd cleared off. I told him/her all about what I had spent doing instead of practiced. "Oh, (Nickname for character 1). Always off doing something daring, aye, mate?" Bunji-jumping. Jet flying. Storm-chasing. I'd had so much fun I'd given up practicing. I sat up and grabbed my guitar.

"Bye (Character 2)! Off to (place) to practice!" I made the rock on sign with my hands and sprinted off to find (Character 3). I was surprised he/she wasn't in the crowd. And what made me panic even more was how many people there were cheering my name excited for the performance!

I came to a halt in front of (Character 4)'s room because I'd seen some spikey hair. But of course, it wasn't (Character 3), because everything I think is him/her isn't. (Character 4) was always playing around with his/her hair these days.
