The kitchen, galley Chloe reminded herself from the little reading she had done on boats in the last week, was surprisingly big. Plenty of room to cook for a much bigger crew, and space for long trestle tables to feed them. Most of the room was taken up by odds and ends Chloe couldn't identify. Art, trash, appliances, netting, tools, instruments. It was a cluttered hodge podge. Four tall chairs in different styles crowded around a small high counter at the edge of the kitchen for the Couffine family meals.

Chloe followed Juleka in, trying to consider lines of conversation that would be appropriate. Juleka was obviously not trained like Sabrina was, she was easily intimidated though. That was a double edged sword, it wouldn't do to upset Luka.

Juleka stopped at the counter and looked back with a sullen glance,"r'y h'gry?"

Chloe eyed the chairs skeptically while trying to mentally decipher the mumble,"No, but Maybe a drink?" She feared where the water on a boat might come from,"A fruit juice of some kind?"

Juleka explored the fridge, and while she did Chloe blurted out something she had been so proud of herself for holding in,"And you really shouldn't mumble, it's weak and unbecoming." . She bit her tongue before 'though I suppose that suits you.' slipped out.

Juleka apparently finished the thought herself anyway. She flinched with her head still in the fridge and was a long moment before coming out with the juice, in a Tupperware container of course.

Chloe shuffled herself onto the least offensive chair and kept herself silent while Juleka poured her a glass. No more than two glasses in the cupboard matched.

Juleka put the juice, no ice, on the counter in front of Chloe then snatched her hands back as if burnt. She turned to flee the kitchen and Chloe panicked, calling,"You want to be a model right?!" and reaching out after her.

It worked, thankfully it worked. Juleka stopped in place and very slowly turned just enough around to look at Chloe out of the corner of her eye,"Y'h?" Her hands were balled into fists, but it didn't feel like anger.

Chloe Pawed at the air,"Come back here then, we'll see what we can do." Chloe slid her phone onto the counter and opened up one of her favorite apps,"Do you know anything about modeling?" Chloe prompted, trying to will Juleka's acquiescence by simply acting as if it had already been given.

It worked. Juleka siddled back over. It was an inelegant walk, but Chloe took note of how Juleka's hair swayed with it; little mental notes filed away. She peered at Chloe's phone curiously, but still kept her distance,"L'l, I did sm for mm, Mar'net."

Of COURSE Marinette. Chloe failed to suppress an eyeroll, but she did refrain from saying anything other than,"Do you have pictures?" She deserved a medal for that.

Juleka took out her own phone and offered it to Chloe after opening a gallery. Chloe took it and flicked through the images. She frowned, then sighed, and finally let out a small 'ugh.' Looking up she saw the effect it had and rushed to divert the effects,"It's all very well and good, you did just fine, if you want to open an Etsy store." Chloe handed back the phone,"I mean it, who knows, maybe you'll even blow up on Pintrest." She let the sarcasm drip out, she had to sell this,"But, if you want to be a REAL model, you'll need to work with professionals."

She waited and watched. There were calculations going on behind that one visible Amber eye. Juleka wasn't seeing her. She was seeing something else far off, her pupil darted back and forth seeing unknown vistas before finally refocusing on Chloe,"I c'n?"

Chloe waved a hand dismissively,"Of course you can. Anyone can once with the right connections. More than once is on you." She turned back towards her own phone, Juleka would have to come closer to continue the conversation,"The question is, are you willing to do what it takes?"
