A small cloudy day in Happy Tree Falls, three tree friends are out and walking, Cuddles, Giggles, and Petunia. " Hey Giggles, have you noticed that Splendid hasn't appeared lately?" said Cuddles in a small curious voice while picking up her skateboard. " I think she only comes when there is danger, Cuddles " Giggles responded in a soft deepish voice " We can't know for sure if she is out in public even if she was right in front of us "

" I'm so sorry! " a soft yet stern voice said " I wasn't paying attention to where I was going ". " It's okay ma'am! It's my fault for not looking " Giggles looked up to see a blueish teal squirrel in a 1990's type person's outfit with sky blue eyes holding a book and a pencil " Here let me help you up Mr " said the squirrel while helping Giggles off of the floor, at first he didn't think anything of it but as he thought the more it gave him a headache " it was just a coincidence " Giggles said in a mumble.

" Man, I need to pay more attention to where I am going. Now where is that building again? I think it's over here " I didn't really know those streets well and sugar sure didn't remember what the building looked like, it's a brand new building with the same job as to mine but to add insult to injury I did a really bad job last time I was sent to another building. Why do we still need news papers anyway? It's not like anyone really reads them, it's like it's just a waste of paper and ink. Now that I think of it, I haven't seen Splendont for a while I wonder if she's doing well. Oh! Maybe I can ask that person if they know where the building is. " E-Excuse me! Do you by any chance know where the new news building is? " I don't know why I had that stutter its not like they would yell at me for not knowing where it is but they responded kind of quickly " Yes I do know where it is, and for fact you are pretty close to it, take a left turn up there and to the right you should be able to see the nut that serves the news paper industry's symbol " that was .... a mouth full to hear " Thank you so much " now that I am headed the direction I wonder if that restaurant is still open. I guess I can check after work.

As the sun began to send the tree friends started to head inside to go to bed it makes you wonder what would have happened if Splendont weren't to have arrived to earth at all, would it still play out the same as it is now? Splendid who was heading home after a long day at the new news paper place was way too tired to grab anything to eat. As she waited for the streets to be cleared she heard a car crash just about 10 miles away " Oh no I need to get there now! " she said hastily and quietly. Running into an empty alleyway she quickly put her work clothes in a small satchel she always carried on her and put her mask on taking off faster than a lightning bolt strike to the scene of the crash. Splendid getting there a few minutes before the ambulance and police swiftly started helping people out of their cars and into safety but there we so many people that she was struggling to get them all before something worse happened. She would have called for back-up if it weren't for her bracelet being broken. In a small moment all hope was lost because the ambulance and police weren't there yet Splendid did something that you wouldn't expect her to do. Knowing how to call Splendont she mumbled " Fine you win just please help me out this once then you can have heroism over all, I give up " that small time frame called Splendont in quick enough time zoomed over faster than you can count to 10 immediately she started helping splendid with the people in the car crash. " You can't really give up " Splendont said with a commanding but kind voice, splendid not taking long to respond " Yes I do mean it. You have more speed and patience than I could ever have I can't actually save people I just hurt them and I-" splendid getting cut off by Splendont " That's where I need to stop you Splendid "
