Splendid slightly surprised that Splendont didn't just rub it in stayed quiet. " You try your best and that's what matters, no matter what people say it's the effort that counts. " Splendont said softly " Now please don't talk shit about yourself. " Splendid didn't respond for a few minutes just in pure shock " I- I don't get it. " she said in a confused voice while holding back tears. " I understand that you don't get it, it's very sudden and I bet you didn't think that I would care but I do. I also saw that your house was destroyed a few weeks ago. You can stay with me if you want. If you're alright with it " Splendont said in a calming mannar while putting her hand on Splendid's shoulder as Splendid choked back tears she quietly nodded and said " As long as it's alright with you I'll gladly stay with you. " as the day went calm and the sun set down to a beautiful sunset with purple, pink, and orange, only a few clouds in the sky. Quite nice for a calming atmosphere, with a few waves from the ocean, soft coos from doves and pidgins, soft blow of the wind, and not a single struggle in sight. Everything had finally calm down, everything went still, not a soul in sight besides Splendid and Splendont headed towards the beach. " You know, we got off on the wrong foot. Would you like to try again? " Splendid said softly as she was looking at the ocean, Splendont said in a somewhat thoughtful manner " That would be nice, but maybe tomorrow for now... let's just enjoy the moment " Splendid smiled a little bit before the smile turned into a small frown.
