The smile I failed to capture

There she stands
In the cold
Too late to grab her hands
To late to hold
She was once on this earth
Trying to find her worth
But the people around her held her down
Making her smile into a frown
She  couldn't look in the mirror
She didn't want to see herself any clearer
She hated the fact that she was her
But everything was a blur
She gave in the bad thoughts
Held herself in a loose knot
Her hands were lonely
If I could be the only
The only one who could have been there
Then maybe she might have lived on this earth somewhere
Living happily
Cancel the agony
