Miss Drake entered the room seconds after Susie, tugging a duffel bag by her side. Duncan watched Sammy's nostrils flare and his expression turn to pure fear, he turned to Daisy and said something to her that Duncan couldn't hear. Jared and Susie stood side by side, watching Miss Drake unpack her bag. All that was inside were bags full of a crimson liquid, they looked exactly the same as the bags Duncan had found in the woman's office. Rudy groaned beside Duncan before his head lifted from Duncan's shoulder. Rudy's eyes landed on Jared immediately and although Duncan couldn't see his eyes he could feel the hurt and grief that filled Rudy's body in that instant. Duncan swore he saw Jared's smile waver but didn't have the time to process it before Miss Drake gripped his face and forcefully turned it to face her.

"This part isn't going to hurt, this is only preparation to make sure everything goes as planned." Miss Drake smiled and in a split second the bag of blood she had been holding was emptied on top of Duncan's head. Duncan gasped as his body turned red and the metallic smell made him gag. Rudy flinched as the blood splatter on him and Wren as well.

"Please, Miss Drake—" another wave of crimson drenched him. He coughed and spat out the bits that had found it's way into his mouth. "Please!" He screamed. Miss Drake gave him a warning look but he didn't shut up. "Miss Drake, I don't know what your doing or why you have all that blood but please, please let us go. Or let them go and keep me, I—I don't car—"

"Quiet!" Her scream was so loud Duncan swore the building shook. Rudy jumped and instinctively curled up to cower against Duncan's chest, something Duncan had grown to understand was a common occurrence when someone raised their voice around him.

"It's okay, nothing's going to happen to us." Duncan whispered, trying his best to ignore the blood that was hardening on his skin. He turned around to see Sammy sitting in a seat with his head hidden in his knees and Daisy kneeling beside him, speaking to him calmly.

"Just stay quiet and let me do what I need to do." Miss Drake closed her eyes and Duncan watched Sammy's head shoot up. Daisy's eyes filled with fear and she stood to keep him in his place but he pushed her away with incredible strength, sending the girl backwards so that she slammed her head against the wall and stopped moving. Duncan started to panic as Sammy approached them, his former best friend's eyes were glowing and he didn't like the look of it.

Duncan could see the pain in Sammy's eyes, the fear of what he was doing was prominent in the blond's expression but that didn't change was he was about to do. Jared and Susie stood on either side of Sammy. Susie in front of Wren who was still unconscious, Sammy in front of Duncan, and Jared in front of Rudy. All of them looked ready to kill. Sammy stepped forward and gripped Duncan's shoulders, leaning forward as the others watched. Rudy tried to kick Sammy away from Duncan but Jared grabbed his wrists and pinned them against his chest.

Sammy leaned against Duncan's ear. "This is going to be awkward mate, but I need you to scream." Then, Sammy was hugging him. "Scream, Duncan." And Duncan did. He screamed as if his life was being sucked out of him by Sammy's touch. He must've made a good actor because one glance at Miss Drake told him she was pleased with Sammy's actions. "Fight." Sammy whispered and Duncan started to kick and struggle against Sammy's hold. "Stop."

Duncan let his body go limp and Sammy released him. Only then did Duncan realize his legs were no longer bound and his waist could move freely from the seat. Sammy had freed him but now wasn't a time to escape so he had to play dead.

"Very good Samuel," Miss Drake smiled, clapping her hands like a little girl on Christmas. She held out her arms and Sammy crashed into them, hugging the woman as if she was his mother whom he hadn't seen in years.   She released him and wiped the tears from him eyes. "I love it when you listen to me." She gave Sammy one last smile before closing her eyes and taking a deep breath in. When she opened them, Sammy collapsed to the floor in a heap.

Rudy was crying and trying to escape Jared hold in order to check on Duncan who's body was lying limp in his seat. "Let go of me." Rudy said, his voice low and his puffy eyes locked in Jared's. "Nobody likes a lickarse." Rudy struggled again but Jared's hold was strong.

"I told you I was into bind and—" Jared didn't get to finish the perverted statement because Rudy had brought his knees up to the dark-hair boy's gut and pushed him backwards with the soles of him feet. Jared stumbled and tripped over Sammy's unconscious body only to be caught by Miss Drake.

"Why hasn't the girl woken yet? You haven't killed her already have you?" Miss Drake asked after Jared was stable. She approached Wren and leaned over her to listen to the girl's breathing. Wren opened her eyes and slammed her head against Miss Drake's.

"Don't come near me or I swear to god I'll scream." Wren warned. The only person in that room that understood the threat was indeed Miss Drake so she stepped back with a defeated gaze.

Wren turned to Duncan, his face was turned towards her and the smell of blood radiating from him was almost unbearable. It was hard to see Duncan's features through the blood but when he opened his eyes and winked at her she couldn't help but let out a breathy laugh.

"If I scream, this building comes down. All of you will be crushed. Let us go or die with us." Wren warned. She hoped Duncan believed the warning and could get out of there before the building went down.

"You forget that you'll die too." Miss Drake stated calmly.

"My best friend wants to kill me, I'd rather die with her than by her hand." Wren shrugged. Miss Drake shot Susie a look and chuckled.

"Then I guess the building's coming down." Miss Drake smiled. Wren could tell she didn't believe Wren would actually scream.

"Guess so."

The building shook from her voice when she kept her word.
