Hartley's POV:
I regret not going to work at this point, well I could say work isn't really necessary for me seeing that I have loads of money although I want it to look like I work for the money which I don't, I fear this a waste of my time but giving thig this job up would mean a boring life, not to mention it is the most boring job ever. I sighed wondering what I would do if my parents didn't die leaving me on earth with this much money.I always get fired from jobs because I didn't want to go to work and I don't want to get fired from any more jobs again since I'm running out of places to work in my area so my current job is working in the library which is thirty minutes away from my house but I won't be skipping work again anytime soon. I'm Hartly Brown I'm a tall girl reaching 6'1, I'm 21, and I have black neck-length hair, gray eyes, a few tattoos, a couple of piercings and I'm bipolar as fuck, to some people at least.
I'm currently laying in bed which is not healthy for me at all I'm just going to end up sleeping the whole day which is why I regret not going to work, I don't even know why I didn't go anyway, I was just lazy I guess.
Getting up I grab my phone walking around the house finally deciding to get a snack then I went outside and entered the backyard feeling the cool spring air blowing against my skin I walked to the bench I made under a big tree that was now blooming some little flowers, and I sat down to relax and eat the snack that I took from the kitchen.
About half an hour later after eating a big bag of Doritos and using my phone I eventually got tired and was about to go inside when I heard the rustling in the bushes in the corner of the yard I look closely waiting for whatever it is to come out I was one hundred percent sure it was a squirrel but to my surprise, it was a cute little cat.
I took a good look at the cat seeing how unusual and mesmerizing it looks. The cat stopped and looked at me; suddenly I felt so drawn to it.
I put my phone down and walked over to where the cat was as I was walking toward the cat it didn't even run away or move back like how other cats would do, it walked toward me as well.
Upon reaching it I knelt and reached out to touch him, listen I knew nothing about animals much less a cat I could just feel its energy, something telling me that it was a male.
" This is so weird," I say out loud as I pet the cat.
The cat meowed and purred leaning into my touch and licking my hand, I smiled feeling proud of myself, I've never been good with animals.
After a while of me petting him, he bit my hand lightly as if saying to stop touching him now I ignored that and took him up carefully in my arms walking over to the benches grabbing my phone, and throwing away the empty chips bag, I jagged inside going to the living room.
"What should I do with you now", I mumbled settling on the carpet and putting the cat down also.
I finally decided to call Tyrone over after realizing that I have no clue how to take care of a cat.
I got my phone and dialed Tyrone's number in no time he answers the call.
Tyrone: "Hello".
Me: "Hey, Tyrone what are you doing right now?"
Tyrone: "I'm at work, what's the matter do you want a release again?".
Me: "No and why are you saying it like that's the only thing I call you over for". I said rolling my eyes and scoffing.
Tyrone: "Well I know at this time of the day you'd be at work and since you're not at work you call me over".
