Hartley's POV: It's been two weeks of me working nonstop as my boss decides this is my punishment for skipping work again and I haven't had the time to take care of my cat so I bought some new stuff for him. I bought a cat bed, toys to keep him company, a new bowl, and some cat food, I did have to change what he was eating numerous times because he didn't want to eat some of what I bought.

I'm currently at work selling a few more books before it's time to close up and go home.
Zeon's POV: I'm so bored staying here every day I can't just pretend that I'm a normal cat and ignore the fact that I need normal food, I need to eat. The human named Tyrone has been coming here a lot more than I'd like, he hasn't done anything out of line that I didn't like so he's good for now. The only reason he hasn't tried anything on Hartley is cause that girl they called Sofia was around, I could sense his desire for my mate which caused me to hate him even more. I can't help it even if she's a human she's still mine.
Right now I'm in human form with one of my mate's shirts on watching movies and eating cereal. I do this every day when Hartley is not here, I change into my human form when Hartley is gone for the day then I would put back the clothes and the other stuff I used then change back when I hear the car in the garage.
Getting exhausted I turned the TV off and went to the kitchen to put back the cornflakes where I got them from then went to Hartly's room, walking in I was greeted with my mate's scent all over I purr as I went to lay in her bed that had most of her scent. Getting carried away I fell asleep there letting out my tail and cat ears to be more comfortable.
Third-person POV:
Hartley was now on her way home after locking the bookstore she then stopped to buy groceries for the house. She reached the house, parked the car in the garage, took out the groceries she bought, and went inside. She put the stuff on the counter and then went to look for her kitty, she went to the room thinking he would probably be in his bed, and she opened the door to see a boy on her bed in nothing but her shirt sleeping peacefully and curled up in the middle of her bed.
"WHAT THE FUCK!! WHO ARE YOU? WHY ARE YOU IN MY HOUSE?" Hartley shouted startling Zeon and causing him to wake up in fright.
"Ughhh," he groaned "What's up with you, are you crazy? Why did you wake me up from my dream you idiot" Zeon said rubbing his eyes not realizing what was going on.
Hartley stood at the door stunned by what he said to her but then she realized his tail and ears making her completely silent.
When Zeon heard nothing he turned to look only to see his mate's shocked face, his eyes widened in realization as she stared at him.
"Y-Your eyes there the same color as my cat's" she stutters as she immediately recognizes his eyes when he looks at her, the thought instantly comes to mind.
