*Jessica's POV*
We started unpacking our boxes. We decorated the place together & then finally once everything was the way we wanted it to be, we sat on the couch. "We make a great team Jess" Cameron says looking straight into my eyes and smiling. "We sure do, thanks for always being there for me throughout high school." I said giving Cameron a hug. "What time is it now?" I asked. "It's time for you to get a watch" Cameron said winking at me. "Omg that's so old stop it. But seriously, what time is it." I said giggling. "But it still made you giggle (: .. It's only 10:42" he said glancing at his watch. "What?? 10:00 so fast?" I asked surprisingly. "No I said 10:42, well 10:43 now." He said. "Stop it" I said pushing him back. "I think we should go to bed. Tomorrow is a whole new day & we gotta wake up early."
"Wake up early for what" Cameron responds grabbing an apple. "Didn't you say that you invited some friends over for a sleepover ?"
"Oh shit, I forgot. Well yeah we have to go to bed. I mean, I told you Jess that we had to go to sleep."
"Boyy, don't even" I said laughing.
We both went up to our room. Yes we share a bedroom. We are JUST roommates/best friends. I brushed my teeth & took off my makeup. I grabbed a towel & Cameron snatched it away from me.
"Give it back! I need to wipe my face" I say jumping up trying to grab it. He's 5'9" & I'm 5'4" ..
"No! You have to reach it first. Shortica" he says.
"Did you just call me Shortica??" I say laughing
"Yes I did .. Shortica."
"Hardy har har, you're so funny. Now give me the towel." I push him to the bed & go on top of him & reach to the towel.
Cameron turns me over & gets on top of me. He stared at me & smiled wiping my face. "You're so beautiful without makeup wow"
I blushed, I can't believe he just told me I'm beautiful.
He leaned closer to me & then someone texted him. He got off me.
"Who is it?" I asked him
"It's Madison" he says.
Ugh Madison, I hate her. Why would Cameron even talk to her. Doesn't he know I hate her?
"Madison? Why would she text you at 11:07 in the night?"
"I'm just kidding, it's Nash. I know you hate her.. I'm just playing with your nerves." He says giving a big smile ..
"Ugh, of course you'd do that. Can you pass me my phone?"
"Sure. Here you go .."
"Thanks."
I got a text from my best friend Tania.
Tania : Hey
Me : Hey Tania guess what
Tania : WHAT? (Sorry it's in caps, I love it when you ask me that I get too excited.)
Me : 😂😂 Cameron almost kissed me. 😳
Tania : ALMOST?? Dude what happened.
Me : well he got a text when he was leaning in.
Tania : who was it from?
Me : First he told me it was Madison, I was about to explode. But it was actually Nash.
Tania : Aww you guys would be cute.
Me : Shut up 😂 are you coming over tomorrow?
Tania : Is Nash coming over?
Me : 😏 yeah of course. Cameron & Nash are like best friends. Nash was probably the first one Cameron texted.
(Tania has a huge crush on Nash ever since.)
Tania : hehe awesome, duh I'm coming over. I can't wait to see you!
Me : you sure you can't wait to see ME? 😏😂
Tania : oh shush, you & Cameron are exactly alike. This is why you 2 would be like perfect.
Me : Is that a bad thing to be like Cameron?
Tania : of course not lol
Me : Me & Cameron are sleeping on the same bed ..
Tania : oooh get em
Me : 😒 girll, well I'm going to sleep now. Got to wake up early for tomorrow! See ya girl, love ya xx. 😘
Tania : Night Cameron 😉😉
Me : no stop it, 😐
Tania : ✌😄
"Hey Jess I hope you don't mind .. I sleep shirtless"
"No I'm fine with that. I'm going to sleep now, goodnight cameron."
"Goodnight Jess, I guess I'm going to sleep now too." He said as he took off his shirt.
It was the middle of the night, I had a nightmare so I woke up gasping.
"JESS ARE YOU OKAY?" Cameron said waking up
"Yeah I'm fine, just a horrible nightmare. I'm sorry if I woke you up."
" no that's okay, here you can sleep next me."
Cameron put his hands around my waist & I put my hands on his abs. He put the blanket over me & whispered goodnight & sweet dreams this time.
I giggled onto his arms. He pulled me closer. We both fell asleep ..
