Chapter 7

Jessica POV
"So, how are thing with Niall?" I asked Bryn.
"Amazing!" We are going out this weekend!"
"Really?! That's awesome Bryn!"
"I know I'm so happy!" I smiled at her. It was nice to see her this happy. I heard my phone ring and I got up to check it and I saw it was a message from Zayn.
Z: my car got a flat tire today😁 I can't get it back until Saturday, I feel awful saying this but can we please push our date to Saturday babe?

I felt a little suspicious. I am most certainly not gullible. I am not curious either, but I can definitely sense when something is wrong. And my senses gave me the vibe that this is not to do with a flat tire. I came up with a reply for him.
M: no worries, Let's just use my car!
Z: no babe, I'm not gonna let you drive, its a surprise where we are going
M:ok, then drive my car
Z: sorry love, but I only take my date in my car😏
M: have it your way Zayn💞
Z: thanks so much love, Saturday is going to be amazing for you😘

And that's where our conversation ended. I decided that if Zayn genuinely loved me, he would eventually tell me. I just have to be patient. But unfortunately, I am probably the least patient person on this earth. So I will just have to push my limits for Zayn.

"It's been a couple days since we've hung out somewhere. Wanna watch a movie and get dinner?" I asked Bryn.
"Sure! Let's go!"

"Okay, so should we watch Cinderella or The Duff?" Bryn asked
"Neither. You know how much I hate chick flicks. Lets watch Lazarus Effect"
"But I hate action movies! How do you enjoy people shooting and running all the time?"
"Okay, lets watch Unfinished Business. Its a good mix of both"
"Okay" We both bought our tickets and went into the theater. It was still at the part with the annoying trailers.

"That was a good movie!" Bryn said.
"For you, there was no action at all." I groaned. She rolled her eyes.
"Whatever, where do you want to eat?"
"Let's get pizza"
"Ok, let's go to that vintage pizza place down the street."
"Okay"
We walked down to the restaurant since in was pretty close by.

"Let's share a large pizza with pineapple, olives, and onion" Bryn suggested.
"Okay!" I agreed
We made our order and and Bryn started the conversation.
"So, did you pick out what you are wearing for your date with Zayn?" She asked wiggling her eyebrows.
"No not yet. And he texted me saying his car had a flat tire and he is only getting it back on Saturday so that's when we will go."
"Oh ok" No matter how much of a nerd and how book smart Bryn was, she was not street smart at all. In other words, very gullible and can't handle people well. I may not be as book smart as her, but I was definitely street smart.

We came back to our dorms and got our PJS. I grabbed my toiletry bag and told Bryn I was heading off to shower.

At the showers, I saw a familiar face. It was Suha.
"Hey Suha!" I said to her.
"Hey Jessica!"
"We should really hang out sometime. Here, gives your number so we can call each other sometime" she entered her number in my phone. I got this vibe from Suha that if anything went wrong with me and Zayn, she would be one of the first people I go to. After Bryn of course.
"Listen I gotta go now but we will hang out sometime!" Suha said
"We will, see ya"
"Bye"

I groaned when my alarm went off. I rolled of of my bed and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face
I decided to wear some color today, so I put on a pair of black leggings and a grey sweater with a maroon scarf. Ugh I looked way to basic, I had to do something different. So, I decided to wear two chokers and a bunch of metallic necklaces. I put on brown combat boots and got my stuff and headed out the door. I stopped by Panera to get some breakfast and coffee. This is a good start to the day.

This was a suckish chapter I know😞 but you know it's always calm before a storm😏 I'm not gonna give you any spoilers but the next one or two chapters might be a little calm without action but something big is coming up😱 please vote and comment!
