Chapter 3

The journey didn't take that long, as Dreams horse stopped infront of the palace gates, they were greeted by a bunch of knights. "Who are you?" one of the furious guards asked.

"He's my friend." George spoke, showing power as he got off the horse. "K-king George?" then, George saw his family running toward him. "George! we've been looking for you!" Puffy worriedly admits, pulling George into a tight hug. "Who are you?" Eret questioned at the dirty blonde-haired, "Dream." the boy answers with polite and honesty.

"Did you took George?" George immediately pulled away from his mom's embrace, "No! i-i was kidnapped, and he came to save me." George lied at the first line, making Dream confuse. "Really? thank you so much for bringing our son back." Dream just nodded nonetheless, getting off his horse.

"How can we pay you?" Dream was about to answer when George suddenly interrupted him "I want to marry him." Everyone's eyes widened, including Dream. "Wha-" George cuts off Dream again "He saved me and i need protection, he will protect me at all costs. Just like what he did now." Eret and Puffy smiled "I think you're right George, are you sure about this, Dream?" Dream gulps, still processing what happened. He just happened to save the king and now he'll be getting married to him?

George gave Dream a pleasing look, like begging him to say yes for some reason. "U-uh yeah, sure.." The parents sighed in relief "Great! we'll held the engagement party tomorrow evening, for now, you guys should take a rest." Puffy suggested, "Can i have a word with you guys, for a while?" George questions making his parents nod.

"So what do you wanna talk about, George?" Eret asks making George look down, they were in the throne room as usual. "I-i passed by the village earlier and there's culprits invading, the entire village was on fire and everyone's in danger." Puffy gasped "So the letters were true?" George clenched his fists "Why would the people living there would lie? look, i want some knights to protect the village. They need our help, mom." They were about to respond but George already walked away.

As George arrives on his room, he saw Dream sitting on the couch- looking away. "Care to explain about this marriage thing you wanted to happen between me and you?" George took a deep breath, shutting the door behind him. "I-i've been receiving threats recently and i needed protection, plus sooner, my parents will be arranging me to get married with some random princesses so i had to do this." Dream just nodded, not replying.

"Do you came from the village?" Dream shakes his head "No, i just happened to came by. I live from the woods alone." George bit his lower lip, thinking for some things to ask him. "H-how did you kill those bad guys in just a snap? like that quick?" Dream chuckled before facing him, his mask is still covering his whole face.

"Experience, since i live in the woods, i've taught myself to use some weapons for killing animals for supper without getting caught." Dream replies, "Oh.." Dream then spoke again "So are we just gonna ignore the fact that we'll get married? we don't even know each other that well yet." George looks away, "I-i just had to, okay!? look, just change your clothes, i'll call my maids to bring us dinner." George then shoves Dream some extra clothes from his closet, then pushes him forcefully in the bathroom. Dream just smirked underneath his mask, closing the bathroom door to change his clothes.

Once Dream changed his old clothes, he was now wearing some neat ones, they're green too. "Dinners here." Dream sat down on one of the chairs, while George sat across him from the medium table then they started eating peacefully.

"What's that?" Dream curiously asked, spotting some red eyeglasses from Georges bedstand. "Uh they're my colorblind glasses." Dream looks at him in confusion "colorblind glasses?" George looks down in shame, nodding after. "Yeah, i'm colorblind so i needed those to see colors if i had to. My great friend, Nick, gifted that to me." Dreams eyes widened "Nick?" George got confused "Yeah, Nick, do you know him?"

Dream gulped "Is he Sapnap?" Georges was surprised "Yeah!" Dream grabbed a glass of water, gulping it down anxiously. "I-is there a problem?" the younger just faked a smile "Nothing, he just sounds quite familliar." George laughs "Probably, he's really a loud person and almost all the people in L'manburg knows him." Dream just smiled a little.

Why out of all people, why is he friends with Sapnap? i'm so dead! Dream thought.

Dream glances at George, who's busy sipping his tea. Guilt started to run into his own vines. George is too innocent for this world, especially one day, George will be his husband- if he finds out about his real identity, George will surely hate him.

He can't betray George, George is too kind. Why did Pogtopia made him do this? plus Sapnap, the only guy who's from L'manburg that knows him, since Dream is also part of the culprits but he never was part of threatening George. His mankind just despised L'manburg, so they wanted to take the King down and get his crown for money.
