The house felt empty, a lot of the girls had gone home to spend the summer with their families, but it wasn't that. Ever since Misty's death, Cordelia had felt like a part of her was missing. She always knew she had a strong bond with Misty, however it still confused her why she had mourned Misty's death so much more than the other girls. She brushed the thought aside as she went downstairs so go see how the girls were doing. She stood in the doorway watching Zoe teach. Her eyes darted around the room, falling on Mallory; a young witch, new to the coven. She watched her as she attempted the spell with ease. She was already a promising witch, is was obvious from the moment she arrived. A knock at the door broke her train of thought as Zoe turned to look at her. "I'll get it" Cordelia mouthed, smiling as she walked to the door. She didn't know who it was, most likely a delivery she thought. The coven had been growing so rapidly that they needed to order more beds. She unlocked the door and opened her mouth, about to direct the deliverers to the rooms but stopped when she realised who it was. Her eyes began to fill with tears as she saw the person standing before her. "Misty?" she said in disbelief as the witch smiled. Her mind was spinning with questions but she brushed them aside as she embraced the witch in a strong hug. When they pulled away the questions came flooding back to her, but she knew they must wait as she was sure that Misty was just as overwhelmed as she was. "A- am I really here" Misty said with disbelief, "Yes, you're back, you're safe." Cordelia said, cupping her face with her hands, trying to savour the moment. "Come on" she whispered, "lets get you something to eat, you must be starving" she said smiling, "I'd love that" Misty said . Cordelia beamed, she forgot how much she loved hearing Misty's voice.

Misty sat down at table as Cordelia brought her a sandwich and a cup of tea, "sorry it's not much, we have a lot more mouths to feed nowadays" Cordelia said with a weak smile. Misty peered through the doorway to see Zoe teaching a room full of girls. "You really turned this place around Delia" she said looking back at Cordelia.  "I guess you could say that" she said with a grin. They sat in silence for a while as Misty ate, soaking up each others presence. "So where's Fiona?" Misty asked, their eyes met before Cordelia looked down, biting her lip. "I'm so sorry Delia" Misty said softly. "It's okay, she was the supreme, so her death was sure to come sooner or later" she said as she looked back at Misty. "So who's the supreme then?" Misty asked. A smile spread across Cordelia's face before Misty grabbed her hand. "I knew it!" she said grinning, "I always told you you were an awesome leader and look at you now!" she said beaming as Cordelia laughed.  "So how many girls are there?" Misty asked as she finished her sandwich.  "Nearly one hundred" Cordelia said as Misty's eyes widened, "But most of them are home for the summer, there are only around 20 here now. Which reminds me, you still haven't seen Queenie and Zoe yet" Cordelia said getting up from the table, reaching for Misty's hand sending butterflies through her stomach. Misty always knew she had a strong connection with Cordelia, but only now was she remembering how she felt around her as Cordelia lead her into the living room. She didn't have anymore time to think about it before she was met with gasps as Zoe and Queenie saw them.  "h-how are you here?" Zoe stammered with wide eyes. Misty herself didn't even know so she just smiled and shook her head. "It doesn't matter how she got here, only that she's here and back with us" Cordelia said smiling. Cordelia noticed she was still holding Misty's hand and quickly dropped it. She didn't know why she felt the need to let go of it, it's not like there was anything between them she thought. Or was there?
