Chapter 1

I walk off the bus with my baby brother, Isaac in my arms and a suit case, while some others have my other suit cases. I see a cute guy talking to Rick. He looks just like Rick. So I'm guessing that's his son. He looks at me and glares. I just glare back, he wants to act like a dick, I'll act like one back.

I walk to where everyone else is walking, which is inside the prison. I go inside the prison and walk into a cell which Rick escorted me to. I sat on the bed with Isaac and put my suit case on the ground while others have mine and put them on the ground too. They walk out, and someone came in. I looked to see Patrick. I started to like him. He's really cute. "Hey Mackenzie," Patrick said. "Hey Patrick, just call me Mack or Kenzie," I said to him. He nodded, then he sat beside me on the bed "I started to like you a lot, and I want to know if u will go out with me?" he said and asked at the same time, "Sure, and I started to like you to," I said. I kissed him on the lips, he kissed back and it lasted for a couple of seconds. "Wanna go outside?" I asked he nodded, but then I said "Who's gonna watch Isaac?" He said "I don't know," "I will get someone, so stay here real quick okay?" I said and asked. He nodded. I walked out of the room and saw a blonde girl with another baby. I went up to her and said "Hi I'm Mackenzie, but you can call me Mack or Kenzie," "Hi Kenzie, I am Beth," she said. I know we are gonna be good friends. "Can u watch my baby brother, Isaac," "Sure. And I know we will become Bestfriends" "I Do Too!" I said and walked back to my cell. Patrick was sitting on my bed, so I sat beside him. "You wanna go now?" I asked. He nodded. So, we walked out and went outside. We sat at a table and Carol asked Patrick if he would continue her cooking and he said sure. "I will talk to u later alright?" I said and asked. "Yeah," he said and I pecked his lips, and went to the fence. Knifing some of the walkers and I saw like 3 girls and went to them. "Hi guys, I'm Mackenzie. Call me Mack or Kenzie," I said. "Hi Kenzie, I'm Lizzy, and this is my sister, Mika," She said "I love you guys's names," I said "Thank you," they at the same time.

"What are you guys doing?" I ask "Just naming the walkers since one of the walkers have a name, we decided to name them all," Lizzie said. I nod and just go along with it. So we started to name the walkers and Ricks son comes up with Patrick and says "What the hell do you think your doing," "Oh, we're naming the walkers since on of them have a name tag we decided to name them all," Lizzie said. "Don't name them," he said "Why?" I asked. "Because they're not people there dead things they can't speak, they're dead," he said.

I glare at him and said "Who the hell made you the boss of them?" He stayed quiet and I said "Yeah, that's what I thought." "We are going to story time, Patrick and Kenzie are you guys coming?" Lizzie asked "Yeah, I'm coming." I said "I will be there," Patrick said. We nod and walk to the library where we have story time at then I say to Lizzie and Mika "I think we are going to become great friends," they respond with a nod and a 'I think we are too!' We are at story time and we sit down and Carol begins to read us a story, Patrick walks in and sits on a chair. I get up and sit on his lap. They look at me weirdly, but I just shake it off. In the middle of the story the guy that was watching us just left and Carol closed her book. She brought out knives. "I'm gonna teach you guys how to use weapons," she said, then I said "I already know how to use weapons." She nods and tells me to just watch for more experience.

I nod and Patrick said "May I be excused I'm feeling sick," Carol asks "This is an excuse to miss this is it?" "No, but I'm about to puke," he said I got off his lap, the girls moved away from him and Carol says "You may be excused," and he just walks out of the Library. She tells us about how to use weapons and stuff and I just zone out. Thinking, if Patrick could die from being sick. So I just shake the feeling off. Then Carl comes out from behind a book stand. "Please, don't tell your dad," Carol says. He just shakes his head and runs out. I started coughing a couple of times. What if I got sick from Patrick? I mean I kissed him and stuff, and he's sick. "Are you okay?" Lizzie asked. I nod and coughed again "I'm fine," I say "Okay," Lizzie replied back.

Then for about an hour coughing and dealing with Carol showing us how to use weapons she finishes and it's dark out. So I walk out of the library and go into my cell. Beth comes in with Isaac. "Can you keep him away from me? I think he will be sick from me," I say she nods and says "I will have him in a cell with me and Judith," I nodded, before she left I asked her "What's Ricks sons name?" "Carl," She says "Carl Grimes." I nod and go to bed. Me and Patrick share a cell and he hasn't come back. I wonder where he is. I just shake off the feeling and go to bed, wearing the same clothes I wore from today. Before I went to bed I wondered if he's okay...
