A bunch of former students from a class somehow appear in China in the year 1 AD. No one knows how they got there, but they all assume this is all some sort of sick game, yet they still go along with it and play for their lives.
On their way to Chang'an, Mike, Johnny and Johnny's officers all prepare for the upcoming battle. Mike looks around worried, he knows this is the first time he has to fight anyone, especially a person he once trusted, yet Johnny looked determined. "Johnny why do you look excited, like you know we can win?" Mike ask curiously. Johnny replies, with a smile still on his face, "because we will win. You and me, fighting in battle together, it reminds me of when we played soccer back home, we were a good team and now we get to fight someone together, I just have a feeling that if we don't do well, we will lose everything." He laughs as he says that, but Mike tries to smile, but thinks about what Enzo had said, that he wasn't fit to rule. "Maybe we should turn back, maybe Chen is a better leader than me, I don't know, I've just been thinking, what if Enzo was right... about me being a bad leader. I literally had Chen as my right hand man, and apparently he backstabbed me, so maybe he is right." He sits down looking up, as the clouds come together for the upcoming storm that is to come. Johnny sits next to him and pats his back, telling him he has nothing to worry about, that he will help Mike get his Kingdom back, and that he will always have his friends to turn to when things get rough. With those words in Mike's mind, he cheers up and feels ready to overthrow his former subordinate, feeling more confident than he ever felt before in his life. As the duo sat on the luscious, green grass, Johnny's officer ran towards them, his hair was messy and wet with sweat from running towards his ruler, he looks like a young man, around the same age as their classmates.

He calls them out, "Lord Johnny, Officer Mikey, I have news for you both that come from this kingdom." Mike looks at him confused, and asks Johnny who is he. Johnny introduces him to Mike. "Mike this is Raphael, apparently we aren't the only ones who were brought here from our time. This guy and his classmates came here too, isn't that cool." Raphael smiles at Mike and holds out his hand to shake his hand, and as the two greeted each other with a handshake and he begins to explain to them the news of Chen Gong and his officers. "So the ruler, Chen Gong, just recruited a legendary warrior, named Lu Bu," he begins to explain, "his name sounds weird but he is actually terrifying. So things may actually be tough, not only that but Chen has one of those Shadow People with him, I know only one thing about them, that they only love to cause conflict and kill us, until only one remains." He begins to tear up, as if he had seen these shadow people do it before, the two of them comfort him and tell him not to worry. Johnny looks at his men as they prepare the lion canons, mount upon their horses, and steady their bow and arrows, he holds up his fist to tell everyone to stop what they are doing, so that he can deliver a speech.
"Today, is a new day," he begins,"but that doesn't mean it will be our end, we are only just beginning, this but a battle, not an all out war just yet, our purpose is to take this kingdom back and return it to Mikey. This is probably the shortest and possibly the worst speech I've ever given, but it's the only one I'll give to motivate you all, now everyone prepare for battle!" Johnny's army cheers for him, Mike looks at Johnny as if he was destined to be a leader. Raphael holds a picture of a girl and a baby, and Mike happens to see the photo, asking if that was his wife and child. Raphael smiles and puts the picture away before responding. "Actually she's my fiancé and that's our daughter, Amber, she was born last week, her mother and I dated in college, we both wanted to be actors, which was how we met. That was almost a year ago, we had arguments, broke up got back together, you know that sort of stuff, but one day we just woke up here, with all our friends from the classes we had with them." Mike gets interested by this, hoping to stall before the fight can truly commence. "What happened to your friends?" He asks curiously. Raphael's smile, turns into a frown and he chokes up a bit as he speaks, "most of them were killed by those Shadow People, they said they wanted to play a game, put on a little show for their master, it lasted for three months. After that, their Master came to us, wearing armor like some type of medieval demon, and he said to us 'this has grown tiresome, I brought you back in time to be part of history. And here you are, doing nothing interesting.' That's when he snapped his fingers and decided to 'replace us' so one by one, the Shadow People killed them." He wiped a tear from his eye and began walking away towards the battle and continued. "After that, it was over 20 of the 24 of us were killed, it was me, my girlfriend, and my 2 friends, I don't know where they went, but I now I see who they replaced us with, but I'm not mad, I am happy to finally make some new friends who want to kill the Shadow People. So, here's to us winning, and if we all make it out alive, I'm inviting you to the wedding." Mike smiles and thanks him for telling him his life's story, but he was more anxious than ever before.
