Ch 31 : "Judaiyaan"

Priya came to karan's room at night for the book she left there..as she shifted to guest room now

She entered and saw noone was there and got a little surprised

Priya : Aaj bhi nehi laute..kahan honge..who cares jahan bhi ho

She took her book and left imediately

At midnight while she was sleeping suddenly priya heard a loud bang on her door..and that woke her up she switched on the lights it was 1:30am she knotted her eyebrows

Priya : Itni raat ko kaun aaya hoga ?

She got down from her bed and went to open the door and krishna ji was there she was almost shivering a fear could easily visible on her face priya got worried

Priya : What happend maa ?? Why are looking so worried

Krishna Ji : Karan..karan ka axident ho gaya hain he is serious i just got a call from the hospital

She said this in a trembling voice 

Priya became completely astonished to hear that she became spelbounded for a moment

Krishna Ji : Priya we need to go there dont have much time priya are listenting

Priya was lost in thoughts

Priyaaa she called her name loudly

Priya : Haan hum chalenge maa dont panic everything will be fine lets go

As soon as they reached hospital priya went to the reception to ask and told natasha to stay with krishna ji

Priya : Excuse me can you tell me about a patient who just got admitted here

Receptionist : Can you tell me the name please mam ?

Priya : Yeah he name is karan khanna

Receptionist : Oh okay the axident case you need to go to the exmergency ward its on the 3rd floor

Everyone rushed to the emergency  ward..and came to know that they took karan to the operation theather so they have to wait outside

Almost 2hours passed finally natasha saw the doctor outside

Natasha : The doctor is here

Priya was sitting there lowered her face to the ground but after heard that she got up and went to the doctor

Priya : How is he now is he okay doctor ?

Doc : Aap karan khanna ke ghar se hain

Priya nooded her head

Doc : Okay well he got several injuries but the one i am concerned about his head injury though we treated him but we need to do some furthur tests to get sure thats its not severe and along with that he got two fractures one on his shoulder and other one on his elbow so thats all for now

Priya : Is he out of danger ?

Doc : Cant confirm but next 12 hours is very important for him we need to keep an eye on him after that as i told you i can completely asure you as soon as we get those tests done   excuse me

Priya eyes got teary she was feeling so down almost broken..tears rolled down from her eyes just then natasha came there and placed the hand on her shoulder

Natasha : What happend priya ? Hows bhai

Priya wiped her tears and said

We have to wait for next 12hours its crucial for him but dont tell this to maa

Natasha : But he is okay na

Priya : I hope so

Then they both came to krishna ji..

Priya : Maa you dont have to worry at all karan will be fine the doctor said so i think you should go home

Krishna Ji : No priya i cant leave my son here i wanna see his face then i will leave

Priya : Thats not possible the doctor wont allow us lekin aagar aap aisa karengi toe aap bhi bimar padh jayengi just go and take some natasha please take her to home

Natasha : Yeah maa priya is right apko ghar jana chahiye chaliye mein apko

Krishna Ji : Nehi mera dil nehi maan raha hain priya ek bar bass dekh lungi use

Priya : Kal ayengi na aap firse lekin abhi you need some rest

Natasha : But priya you are looking exhausted took i think you both should go home i will stay here

Priya : i am okay and i can manage you dont worry

After they left priya came to sit

Priya in mind : Ye kya ho gaya what have you done karan kaise kar sakte ho aap aisa agar aaj apko kuch ho gaya to mein apne aap kaise maaf karungi i will never gonna forgive myself..you always have to do this to me..apse pyar karne ki itni badi saza mujhe maat dijiye you have to survive atleast for your family

She started weeping

Next day 

A nurse came to priya and informed that karan has already regained his conciouness so she can meet him but his condition is still fragile so we need to deal with him patiently..any kind of excitement will be harmful and can detoriate the situation

Priya was feeling hesitated at first wheather she should go inside or not but she couldnt stop herself and slowly she entered into his cabin and without making a noise she went close to him..

Tears formed in her eyes seeing him in that situation he got multiple bruises on his face some of them were deep..tears started rolling down from her eyes she couldnt stand that moment she was about to leave but dont know how karan already felt her presence there and he called her name

Karan : Priya wait

She looked back

Priya : We should talk later you need rest now

Karan : No i have something to tell you please just stay for sometime

Priya : But the doctor

Karan : Forgot about the doctor listen priya i wont take much time

Priya exhale a deep breath and sat on a stool

Karan : Priya mujhe samjh mein aa gaya what was my fault..you was right i have killed my own child my own flesh anjaane mein hi sahi lekin hua hain ye mujhse i dont know whats got into my mind but look i have got my punishment karma hits me back..i totally understood that i will never become a good father ever..so i dont wanted to spoil your life anymore..i will give you the divorce..priya you have already suffured a lot..i never been a good husband and never took my responsibilities seriously..love is not enough to continue a relationship..aur ab mein tumhe apne saath jod ke rakhna nehi chahata you deserves a better person and a way better life than this..you are free now aj se humare beech koyi bandhan koyi rishta nehi rahega priya..tum chaho toe you can leave the house you dont have to stay there waise bhi bas 1mahina hi baki reh gaya hain
.. i am sorry priya i know tumhare liye mujhe maaf karna impossible hain lekin kosis karke dekhna agar kar sakogi toe..

Priya was sitting there quitely and didnt spoke a single word to karan but inside she was feeling like something wrenching her heart but she didnt show that on her face

Karan : Thats all i wanted to say tum azaad ho i dont want to destroy your life anymore just the way i did in my past

Then priya looked straight in his eyes but karan didnt have that courage to face that so he looked away

So priya stood up and left the room
