Chapter 3

•Ellie's P.O.V•
"Charlie! Ellie! Come here!!" My mom yelled.
Charlie and I came out of our rooms stoping at the bottom of the stairs. We looked at each other then head up stairs. Which is big enough so we race up there. When we get to the top we head to the living room.
"Ya mom?" We ask.
"So you both know that Ellie is in AAU basketball. And that will be every weekend so Ellie kiss your weekend goodbye. But that also means we get to go to...." I hate it when she pauses for dramatic effect. She continues, "Wisconsin! But not just Wisconsin but WISCONSIN DELLS!!!"
I must have had a blank stare cause I was in shock which made her laugh.
Then it hit me, "WE'RE GOING TO WISCONSIN DELLS!?!?!" We had never been there.
I did a little dance!! I couldn't wait!!

•Skip the rest of the week•
We are on our way to the Dells. I was smart and slept the whole ride but when I was awake I was reading Wattpad. I don't have a phone so I couldn't go on Vine, Instagram, or snapchat. 😢
I'm a big reader so I get a lot of shit for that. But I'm one of the smartest kids in my class... I wonder why!! 😂
"Mom. I'm hungry." I complained I'm also a big complainer!!
"We're meeting the Rathes at a McDonalds." She replied. The Rathes are a family friend. Kayla the youngest is ine of my friends and teammate. Brett her older bro is Charlie's friend. They also brought Alecia, Brett's girlfriend. She cool but I don't think she likes me.
•Skip McDonalds•
Finally we get to the check in!! I bounce in my seat waiting to get out. Being our first time here so we don't know what we're doing. My mom goes up to the check in for Wilderness where we are staying. Then I see the Rathes pull up. At the same time my mom walks out. We get to section 9 I grabbed what I had and got out of the car as fast as I could. I was super excited and I couldn't believe it!! I ran up to the hotel entrance but got nervous when I saw a sign saying something about needing a key to get in. Pooh. So I waited until my family got everything out of the car.
Charlie my brother came running up and saw the sign and waited while he thought the turned to the door and opened it. I was embarrassed.
Then right when we walked in I looked for an elevator, couldn't find one. Then Charlie comes and is the savior once again and found it. 😒
We get up to the hotel room and immediately I call the room by the window. I threw my stuff onto the bed and got on snapchat. I txt end everyone on my team asking where they were.

E: hey just got here where r y'all?

I don't think my team likes me that much. Then I get a reply from Izzy saying she's in room something I don't remember. I step outside and look at my #. Izzy isn't anywhere near us. I see Kayla and her fam enter a room down the hall.
"Kayla!!" I whisper- yell. Waving like a mad man. She hears me and waves back. We get unpacked and I head over to Kaitlyn's place. (Another teammate)
When we get there we get on vine and watch funny vids! 😂😂 My parents and Kayla's come to get us at 11:00 pm!
I walk through this crowd of guys who I don't pay attention to.
