3:47pm, ucla gymnasium
—"i love meeting like this," you looked up to see aomine staring at you with a toothy grin. you felt your cheeks warm up at what he said and quickly averted your eyes someplace else.
he held you sturdy with his two arms as he helped you stand up straight. you let your arms fall to your side and quickly dust your clothes off, trying to get any dust off. "thank you for um...helping me up," you stammered trying to get out the right words.
"it's no problem," he let out a small laugh, tucking his hands into the pockets of his jeans. you nodded in response as you started playing with your hands, trying to avoid the stares from the other players.
"boys! the change room is that way," nova yelled out, pointing to the left from where she was. she was sitting on the bench rewatching the dance battle with your dad before looking up and noticing the little interaction between you and the blunette.
they all said thanks before heading into the change room.
3:50pm, boys change room
"guys, am i intimidating," aomine sighed as the back of his head rested against the locker. "yes," everyone answered in unison. his jaw dropped before scoffing, "nevermind shut the hell up."
"poor girl looks terrified of you," kise laughed as he began taking his stuff out of his bag.
"she's not, she just gets like that sometimes, y'know? she'll warm up to you eventually," kagami assured them. overall, you were an introvert but after being around people for a significant amount of time, your chill and fun side will reveal itself.
"he's probably right, did you see the look on her face this morning?" akashi interjected as the memory of the panicked look you had when you saw the group of guys earlier popped up. after all, he was the one who told them all to stop laughing when he saw you walking past.
"maybe she's a water sign" midorima mumbled quietly. water signs are the most emotionally driven so perhaps that explains it. he wasn't saying you were a crybaby or anything it was just a random guess.
"you sound like them tiktok girls," murasakibara laughed before violently coughing on his starburst. midorima deadpanned him before slapping his back multiple times.
BANG BANG BANG
nova was outside the boy's lockeroom pounding the door. "HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE YALL NIGGAS TO CHANGE INTO SHORTS AND A DAMN SHIRT!" she yelled outside the door, wondering why they were taking 10 years to change into such a simple outfit.
"yall probably gossiping like bitches in there," she scoffed before turning away from the door and crossing her arms. the boys came rushing out, kise first and the rest following after. kise immediately stopped in his tracks as he saw nova standing there, all the guys came crashing into each other with kise holding onto the door handles so that he didn't hurt her.
