Hi, I've never written a book before, and I am obsessed with loki and tom Hiddleston. So, I decided I will try and write my own fanfic for you all to read. Please say any tips you might have for improvements as I continue to make this book. I hope you enjoy it, and be burdened with glorious purpose ;).

Edited on the 8th August 2021.

Loki is sat on a blanket, in the middle of a field, while Sylvie is practicing with her daggers on a blossom tree near by.

"Ah, this is nice, isn't it? A georgious summer day with just the slightest of breeze. The birds singing in the sky, the pretty flowers scattered among the vast, luscious grass. And... Me talking to myself because you're too busy stabbing a tree". Loki sighs. He stares at Sylvie as she grunts and huffs with every slice of cerated steel she slashes into the tree.

She stops momentarily while snapping back at loki. "Well I'm so sorry if we're relaxed under the sun. And then out of nowhere, BAM! Some horrible miscreants sneak behind us and break our necks. That wouldn't be very ideal now would it loki?". Sylvie goes back to attacking the spiralling flower-covered tower of wood.

Loki begins to fiddle with his fingers, his patience running thin.
"Well no, I suppose it wouldn't be the best option. But I want to be with you". Loki stands up, and walks towards Sylvie. He wraps his arms around her waist and slowly kisses her neck. Sylvie smiles, and closes her eyes. She then frowns and pulls away.

"Loki please. We need to focus". Sylvie practices on the tree once more. Loki feels his composure waning. He says, "focus on what Sylvie? Chopping up some wood? Blunting and chipping our daggers on something so useless as practice? You are perfect Sylvie. And a perfect lady such as yourself does not need to waste her efforts on some petty pieces of bark". Loki takes a step towards Sylvie and tries to gently remove the weapons from her tense hands. But she pushes him away and yells.

"Loki stop! You're being foolish!". Loki feels his anger rising, but decides to distinguish the argument calmly. So he utters, "I am not being foolish. I am simply wishing for you to sit down and spend some time with me -"
Sylvie cuts in mid-sentence. "You are spending time with me".
"You know what I mean Sylvie". Sylvie feels herself beginning to go red. She regretted shouting at him the way she did. But she couldn't help it. Nowhere was ever safe anymore. She couldn't bare it if she lost loki, to be alone again...

Sylvie walks towards loki. She places her arms around his shoulders and closes her eyes. She whispers to him, "listen, I just want to protect you. I don't want to be left alone again. I don't want you to leave me loki".
Loki hears the pain behind her words. He knows what it's like to be alone. He would never admit it to anyone; but being alone was agonizing. He hugs Sylvie, and kisses her forehead.

"Sylvie, we protect each other. And you will never be left alone ever again. I will never leave you"
Sylvie opens her eyes to find loki staring at her with his caring, handsome face. "You promise? That you'll never leave me?"
Loki smiles his rare, genuine smile. "I promise".

"I'm sorry. And you're right- as always", she giggles a little bit, realizing she's probably made Loki's huge ego reappear. And this time she was right- she could see Loki's usual sly, cheeky grin formulating on his lips. "Well, goddess of mischief, I am the god of mischief, and I am burdened with glorious pur-" BOOM!

The two are ripped apart from each other, as an explosion next to them shakes the ground, and sprays dirt and flowers everywhere. The impact from the blast leaves Sylvie spread out on the floor, unconscious. However, on the other side of the now destroyed blossom tree, loki is sprawled on the ground; fighting for every breath due to the explosion winding him.

Loki manages to hear a purring, alluring female voice. He hears her say two words before he aswell closes his eyes, and blacks out. The woman's words echo around his head...

"Hello loki".

That's the first chapter done. Who is the mysterious woman? How does she know loki? And what will happen to Sylvie and loki? I hope you enjoyed reading the first chapter. I will continue writing the book as often as I can. Again, any tips would be greatly appreciated. :)
