Please, at least read the disclaimer at the end of this part. It is important. If you won't, don't come at me later for not warning you.
Hi everyone!
First of all, thank you so much for being here. You can't even imagine how much it matters to me, to have someone take of their time to read what I write. It's a wonderful feeling, to share your thoughts and emotions through a book with your readers.
Now, I'll present myself. My pen name is Esme. I prefer to keep myself as anonymous as possible, for now, at least.
I love reading, psychology, and mythology. Sad books with happy/open ending are one of my favorites. I love whatever can make me cry; a book, a poem, or a song. I listen to Lana Del Rey a lot. Like, all day along. Her songs feel like a lovely punch to the heart.
I've always written things, ever since I was nine. But I never really wanted to share them with anybody. Until now. I have high expectations for how this will turn out, and I hope you'll like it.
Updates will be twice a week – on Wednesday and Saturday – sometimes more, it will depend on my schedule and how much I'm writing. And to be fair, this is a 'short story' type of book. I will probably finish writing in less than a month. If I ever skip an update, please don't be mad at me. It happens, I'm also human and sometimes I need to rest. But I'll do my best to keep up.

As you might have already guessed it, this book is inspired by måneskin's song, called "Coraline".
If you haven't listened to it, you really should.
This song tells the heartbreaking story of a woman, whom Damiano (the writer of the song) decided to call Coraline.
Even after listening to it many times, I still felt like a part of the story was missing. I decided to write a book that would be inspired from my analysis of the song, so I could fill the void in my brain and get give myself some answers.
It won't be exactly similar to it, though. All I can say is the song and my book have the same 'vibe'. Everything else will be quite different, while still matching the theme of "Coraline".
