"Daddy!"
"Yes baby?"
"Bottle?"
Luke looked at the time on his phone and nodded, earning a smile from his daughter. "Warm or cold?" He yelled from the kitchen.
"Warm!" She yelled back and crawled up on the couch and sat on her knees.
"What's the magic word?" He tried to see if he can get her to be polite and say thank you. Sometimes it worked, other times it doesn't. But today seems to be the day where he's lucky.
"Peas?" She said all cutely.
"There you go, thank you for using your polite words." He smiled and pulled out the bottle of milk from the microwave, and handed it to his patiently waiting daughter.
"Tank you daddy." She happily took it from him and he sat down next to her and turned on the tv.
"What do you feel like watching?" He asked.
"Wonder Pets." She said and moved closer to him and lays her head on his lap drinking her bottle.
"Really?" He asked with a surprised look. She looked up at him confused. "I thought you would of wanted to watch the SpongeBob movie."
"Oh yeah!" She smiled through her bottle that was now half gone. "I wanna watch dat!" He put on the SpongeBob movie because she's been begging him forever about wanting to see this movie. And now that it's available on On Demand, she can finally watch it and not nag him about it. Plus, he's secretly wanted to watch it too. "Daddy, can you wub my back?" She turned over so that she's now laying on her stomach while she still lays her face on her daddy's lap.
Luke smiles and lifts up her nightgown and rubs her back softly. She never wants to take off her nightgown because she says that she loves it too much. It makes sense because it has Olaf, a character from the famous movie Frozen. He's read somewhere online that they're currently making a second Frozen-Frozen Fever. Luke hasn't informed his daughter about it quite yet . . . He knows that she'll nag him about seeing that movie too, but the date for it to come in theaters hasn't been set yet. It could be months, maybe years before it comes out. That means years of her nagging him.
Every time his hand would ride up to her neck, she would flinch and tense up a little. Sometimes she would even giggle which would always make Luke smile. He loves seeing his daughter happy because it makes him happy too. It also reminds him that he would do anything to keep that smile on her face. She is small for the age of three, but she's still adorable. And she still wears diapers all the time. Luke doesn't want to start potty training her until he is curtain that nothing will get in the way. If something might come up, meaning they'll have to go out of the country (Australia) with his band (5 Seconds of Summer) then she'll get out of the schedule and forget everything that he has taught her.
He pat her crinkled diaper as she sat up and leaned against him with her thumb in her mouth. "No no no." Luke said, taking her thumb out of her mouth. "Use your binky, not your thumb." He reminded her and handed her her cute little penguin binky and she gladly accepted it, sucking on it immediately.
Luke then turned his head and watched the movie. The part where Patrick is on the ground and there's bubbles taking over the air. A rock was somehow inside a bubble and floated over Patrick's head. Patrick was so amused by it that he poked it and the rock fell right on top of his face. That's when Luke's daughter exploded in laughter, her binky fell out of her mouth. Luke couldn't help but laugh too.
"Baby, why are you still laughing?" He asked her after he calm down.
"I d-dunno!" She laughed.
Luke rolled his eyes playfully before he started tickling her slightly and placed her in his lap for the rest of the movie.
