Sitting on the ledge of my window sill, Stareing blankly out in to the cold sky. I can feel the cold breeze dance along my skin,

It sends a shiver down my back.

As I hop back inside my small room, I put a warm jacket Tina had gotten me last year for my birthday over my bare shoulders.

I go back to the window and breath in.

I can smell the sea.

It's pulling me towards it.

The sea is calling me.

As I quickly put together a outfit: shorts and a dirty tee shirt that I have found off the ground. I stare at my shoes but then rush off leaving them behind.

As I jog across the lawn the urge to break out into a run is a struggle. But finally I make it to the fence and heave myself over,

My feet land on the soft sands and I'm glad I didn't bring shoes, As I walk down to the water avoiding the dunes that sway with the breeze I meet myself at water.

I take off my jacket and lay it gently on the sand as if I just chucked it, it would wake everyone up. I slip one foot inside the cool water then another,

I get a shiver down my spine as I feel a unknown source pull me towards the water. I don't even try to fight back, I just let it pull me.

The freezing water chases away any chance of sleep I had and then I realized I'm up to my knees. It continues to push me deeper into the water,

Up to my waist. It continues to call me.

Torso.

Shoulders.

Then I cannot find the ground anymore. At this point I take but control and just float on my back, The seawater seething into my skin.

Giving me energy. I hear something.

Thud. Thud.

Footsteps.

I take a deep breath and go under. The water feels nice and still under the surface. It's peaceful and I just lay there drifting into oblivion.

I let go of all my worries and finally feel... Free

Hello.

Hi?
...

They swim around me, showering me in affection. Welcoming me back home.

Cheers and laughs it's all fun and games until my lungs feel tight. I can't breath. I gasp for breath as my new friend cry out.

You need to wake up!

Their shouting.
Arya! Arya!

"Arya! Arya!" It's Tina. I'm back on the beach out of water with Tina and another one of the caregivers sitting over me. Tina is holding me with her hair soaking while.. I think her name is Jemma? She's on the phone. I think the ambulance?

"Why? Is everything okay?" I ask.
