Burning

A/N: I'm in a good mood since it's my birthday so here, have a chapter💞

Aizawa's POV:

We just got a call that something was going on at Endeavor's house. I knew that Todoroki was there since it's winter break so I figured I should go check and make sure he's alright.

Before I got in my car I left a note for Mic so he doesn't worry. He's been sick.

The whole way to the house I had a bad feeling, after I turned the last corner something in me was screaming at me to go back home or at least bring backup. Knowing what ignoring your gut can cause I decide to pull over and call Fatgum, Midnight, and Hawks.

As I sit in my car waiting for them to show up, several fire trucks zoom past me. I follow them with my eyes and finally register that they're headed towards Todoroki's house.

He could be danger.

Forgetting the fact that I had backup on the way I sped through the streets and pulled up in front of the burning house. Firemen were everywhere desperately trying to put it out. I saw a few rush out the door carrying two corpses.

"Who are they?" I asked, my eyebrows furrowed. They had been burnt beyond recognition.

"It appears to be Endeavors two older kids. Both are deceased." My mouth hangs open in shock.

"Is there no one left in the house?"

"Well not that we know of-"

That means there's a chance Shoto could be in there. The smoke could cause him to pass out.

I rush through the front door without a second thought. Some men are calling for me but I ignore them.

The roaring flames make it hard to see but I manage to maneuver my way upstairs.

"Shoto?" I call out, hoping he's alright.

"Shoto?!"

I hear creaking but its not him. I'm beginning to get desperate.

"SHO-"

I heard something snap. Then, darkness.
