Endeavor's POV:

I made it to the cabin in record time. Shoto is still asleep. When he wakes up I must interrogate him on this absurd behavior.

I hear sirens far in the distance. It won't be long before they start to look for my son. They'll think I'm simply on a mission. But if I'm not back soon they'll grow too suspicious. I cannot have that.

"Father?"

"Shoto. About time. Explain yourself." I say.

"What happened?"

Does he take me for an idiot? I slap him.

"Do not make a fool of yourself. And do not make a fool out of me. Explain your actions. Why did you kill them?"

"Kill who?" He says, rubbing his cheek.

"YOUR SIBLINGS!" I throw a fire ball at him. He dodged it with ease. Too much ease.

"Have you been training more?" He doesn't answer. Disrespect is not tolerated in my presence. I punch him.

"W-What..? My siblings are..."

"Dead. You killed them. Or did you forget?" I say, mockingly.

"N-No...No no no..." Now he's losing his damn mind. I stare at him in disgust.

"You sicken me Shoto."

"The feeling is Mutual" he replies, with a calm and collected demeanor. As though he simply forgot what he had done.

"Your insolence is not tolerated."

"Your existence is not tolerated." He snaps back at me. I smirk.

"Then fight me. We'll see if you have the guts to address me that way again."

He takes a fighting stance as do I.

He covers the floor in a thin sheet of ice. I know that moving would cause me to slip. The bastard...

I try to melt the ice but he's holding his own.  Replacing every drop I melt.

I decide it's not worth it and focus on getting him off his feet first.

I throw several fireballs in his direction. Gliding around them like some kind of figure skater he launches an ice attack. I block it with fire.

I sense he's no longer focused on the floor so I melt it.

Now that I can walk I charge at him full speed.

He doesn't react quick enough and I manage to knock him off his feet.

"Damnit.." he says, holding his arm.

"Weak." Is all I say.

He glared at me and we resume fighting. He doesn't use fire. It enrages me.

I don't know how long has passed. The walls of this cabin are practically destroyed. But neither of us want to back down.

I look up. He's no longer there.

I can't sense his presence anywhere. Perhaps he ran away.

Something cold touches my neck. I freeze.

"Your existence is not tolerated."

A sharp slice is drawn across my neck. I gasp violently for air but to no avail.

I collapse onto my knees. I see him walking away. I try and fail to call out to him.

Then nothing. Darkness.
