Katie l/n had moved quite a few times now so it wasn't a shock when their parents told them they were moving again.

They'd traveled from Ireland to London to Manchester and now to Japan.

Now besides the obvious difficulties of leaving your home and friends behind, there was also another thing that came with moving that Katie could never quite get used to; moving schools.

It was the thing they hated most about moving, having to start again from scratch, new friends, new teachers, a new building layout, and new classes.

They arrived in Japan on February 15 giving them around 2 months before the start of the academic year to find a new school.

Katie l/n had never really given much thought to what they wanted to do when they were older. To be honest they probably wouldn't have given it much thought for a while if they hadn't just moved to Musutafu.

The perfect career path just sort of laid itself out in front of them.

They had always admired heroes but there weren't that many hero academies near their old school and it's a well-known fact that if you don't go to a hero school you will quickly fall behind.

Now with UA less than a 10-minute train ride away they didn't really have an excuse to not at least apply.

Even after sending in the necessary paperwork, they tried not to get their hopes up. This school has less than a 1% acceptance rate. Honestly, they didn't even expect a place at the entrance exam.

They had already applied for other less prestigious more local high schools. So UA was just a long shot that they weren't relying on.

So it was to Katie's surprise when they got a letter back saying the exam was in 8 days and they looked forward to their arrival.
