The Pretty Omega Next Door(Jimin-Centric)

Chapter 18

     Jimin woke up to the feeling of being suffocated by arms and limbs. Taemin was beside him, drooling on his shoulder with a sleepy snort, Sungwoon was on his other side snoring up a storm, his arms and legs wrapped around his whole body. But Kai was sitting on Jimin's windowsill, his eyes distant while he looked out the damp window.
"Hey hyung." Jimin said, gently pushing the omega and beta off of him. "You're up early this morning..what for?"
"Yea well, Sungwoon kicked me off of the bed in his sleep, and then I couldn't go back to sleep at all." the alpha replied with a snort, making Jimin chuckle as well. "You're up early because of work right?"
"Yea. Usually....Yoongi hyung drives me..but I can't have him drive me to work today..."
"I can drive you Jiminie don't worry about that. You forget that we all have cars you know; you should get one too before the baby."
"I don't have enough money for that Kai hyung. I'm a teacher, remember? My salary is shit so I won't be able to afford it until I get another job..." and Kai chuckled.
"No matter, I can drive you and Sungwoon to school. He has an interview over there right?" the older asked, and the younger omega nodded. "Let's hope he does well and gets the job..."
"Right." Jimin hummed, "I'll quickly get dressed; can you wake up Sungwoon hyung for me so we can go?" and the taller nodded. The orange haired omega walked to his closet, picking out an outfit for the day. A loose pale pink button up shirt, white leggings, and some white sneakers. Something comfortable so he wouldn't be squirming all day.
The small omega turned around to see Kai shaking Sungwoon awake, which made the beta groan quietly and almost bite Kai's finger. Jimin giggled as Sungwoon blinked awake, looking around with furrowed eyebrows.
"What day is it?" the beta asked, squirming a bit. "'M tired...don't wanna wake up yet..."
     "Hyungie get up. I have to take you to my school!" Jimin giggled, smiling happily. "Come on you gotta get up so we don't be late!"
     "You two can take my car while me and Taemin walk around trying to find a job." Kai hummed, glancing to see Taemin sitting up and rubbing his eyes. "Good morning Taeminnie~"
     "Good morning guys. Who's making breakfast?" the elder omega asked with a smile, staring at his friends with droopy eyes.
     "Jimin's making it." Kai and Sungwoon pointed to the younger, who puffed out his cheeks and pouted.
     "Fine you heathens. Follow me." Jimin finally sighed, walking off.
     Let's hope I don't bump into Seokjin hyung and the others today...

     The six alphas all slept at Jin and Jungkook's place, cramped up in the bed together. They didn't want to leave each other just yet, so they all cuddled in one bed together. Jungkook has the bigger bed out of him and Seokjin, so they slept in his room. They were also slightly hurt over Jimin leaving, so they didn't wish to leave each other for the night.
Yoongi opened his eyes quickly, breathing heavily. His hands were sweaty, and he was panting hard.
     Another nightmare.... the alpha thought miserably, shivering lightly. His forehead was damp with sweat, and he looked next to him with a fond, yet tired smile. Jungkook was in his neck, his rich jasmine scent sitting on his scent gland. It felt.....nice. To be surrounded by the people he loves.He wouldn't change it for anything.
"Hyung...?" he heard a voice call out weekly, and Taehyung popped his head up. "Morning Yoongi hyung."
"Oh good morning Taehyungie." Yoongi smiled, crawling over the other alphas to get out of bed. "You're up really early. How did you sleep?"
"Yea....I didn't sleep that well." Taehyung gulped, doing the same. "When Jimin left, it upset me....my alpha was angry and hurt."
"We were hurt too Tae. But he has work today, and I drive him to the school. So maybe I'll be able to talk to him while I'm driving him."
"Hey you think I can come with you to work? I need some inspiration for painting, and I was wondering if I could take your car to look around." and Yoongi hummed, running a hand through his short mint hair.
      "Yea sure, as long as you pick me back up." and Taehyung grinned.
     "Ok! Let's go!"

     Taehyung and Yoongi were out of the apartment in thirty minutes, and they walked to the elevator. But they stopped in their tracks; Jimin and the beta were standing at the elevator as well, talking in hushed tones.
     "Jimin!" Taehyung and Yoongi smiled, speeding up to get to the omega. Jimin turned around, and they faltered once they saw the beta's hands on Jimin's lower back.
     "You ran out on us yesterday!" Taehyung stopped in front of them. "We kinda needed to tell you something else! But you left really early yesterday..."
     "Well that's great!" the beta suddenly replied, tugging Jimin into the crook of his body. "But Jiminie doesn't have time to talk right now. He has work, and he's pretty tired as well."
     "Do you need a ride to work Jimin?" Yoongi asked, pushing down his irritation for the beta. "I can take you again if you want me to...."
     "I'll be riding with Sungwoon hyung today Yoongi hyung." Jimin finally replied, his eyes staring at his feet. "So you can go on ahead without me." the elevator finally opened, and the four men walked inside.
     The air was tense, to be frank. Jimin wasn't looking at anyone; instead, he was looking at the ground, tucked into Sungwoon. Taehyung and Yoongi were too pissed to talk, the beta made them angry. Their scents wafted around the small elevator, sour and dull.
     After a couple of tense seconds, the elevator landed finally and Jimin and Sungwoon booked it out of there. Taehyung and Yoongi walked out, glaring angrily at the beta as he ran off with their omega.
     "Why didn't Jiminie talk to us??" Taehyung huffed, crossing his arms. "We need to tell him how we feel! Before Jihwan is born..."
     "I don't know Tae..." Yoongi gulped.
     Does he really hate us now...?

     Sungwoon quickly unlocked the car snd helped Jimin inside of the passenger seat, sighing in relief.
     "That was close..." Sungwoon gulped, holding his chest. "It felt like those alphas were going to kill me..!"
     "They were glaring at you really hard." Jimin panted, "They wanted to kill you hyungie."
     "They are scary Jiminie..."
     "I've never seen them like that before...it was kinda hot..."
     "Jimin.....maybe this is crazy idea but..what if they like you back? What if the thing they were going to tell you was that they were in love with you!"
     "I don't know.....they seemed like they really love each other...I don't need to ruin that for them..."
     "Jimin you really should've let them talk to you. So you can know what they were going to say or not. You can't behind me or the hyungs forever Min." and Jimin pouted a bit.
     "I know....but it scares me....what if they just tell me that they don't love me??? My poor heart won't be able to take it!"
     "Jimin you can thugs live afraid. You are going to lose them if you don't act." Sungwoon finally sighed. "You don't have to do it today, but please talk to them. Maybe it'll go in your favor?"
     "I don't know Sungwoon hyung...let's just drive." and they drove off.
     I'll talk to them....just not today...
