As far as I'm aware, there is nothing triggering in this chapter! If there is, please let me know ^^
Ah, yes, the Windblume festival. The day to celebrate Mondstadts freedom, the wind, poems with a deep meaning, and love.
Razor knew this much.
As the wolf boy wandered out of Wolvendom on his way to Mondstadt, he saw a particularly happy-go-lucky boy with platinum blonde hair, making his way towards him.
Bennett is— definitely something else.
The adventurer who seems to be cursed with bad luck is always so positive that his energy radiates onto others like the flaming sun. He made the best meat and was always passionate about the people he cares about.
Razor loves Bennett.
Even though the lad who was raised by wolves has trouble speaking, he knows that his feelings towards Bennett are more than platonic. What a big word. And yet, he would say any and every word—no matter how much his throat struggles—that describes his thundering love for the unlucky adventurer.
So, he figured today was the day. A perfect occasion for him to spew out all of his feelings and let them flow to Bennett's ears. That was until those 3 words stabbed Razor in the heart. 'I-I like Fischl'. Oh no. Razor felt- defeated. And in immense pain. In fact, it hurt more than the scars he gets from dealing with monsters every day.
And that's painful enough.
As he processed the simple yet brutally harmful words that shyly slipped out of Bennett's lips, he already gave up. He broke out a painful smile and said— 'I'm sure Fischl likes Bennett too'. This boosted Bennett's confidence so much that he showed off his ordinary wide grin—except this time it was filled with confidence. At the end of the day, Razor saw Bennett and Fischl holding hands, Oz following from behind.
The last thing he saw was Bennett looking back at him, smiling whilst mouthing a 'thank you'.
Bennett now looks forward to another Windblume festival for 10 times more luck. But it seems that Razor has caught Bennett's case of Unluckiness. Big time. And he didn't know what to do.
So he just sat alone at Good Hunter, slowly chewing on the smoked ham Bennett ordered for him, and as much as he loved the meat, the salty taste of fresh tears didn't make it any better.
