Chapter 1 ~Meet Jonah!

Chapter 1

"Jo get up, give yourself sometime to get ready for school." said Mrs. Hall, standing in the doorway. Jo new it was no use trying to stay home because her mother would ask too many questions. So as her heart ached a little more, she rolled over and got out of bed. She washed up quickly and got dressed in her dark blue skinny jeans, black studded combat boots, white crop top, did her hair and put on makeup to match her light caramel skin, grabbed her phone and was out the door 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Jo liked to walk to school when the weather was nice because she could think.
She noticed the beautiful of the California morning. The sun was bright and shining, the birds were singing, it smelled like spring. But she new once she got to school it would all be over. She went to feeling great about herself, day, and life, to feeling really crappy. She didn't know why Sam hated her so much. What did she ever do to him? She entered school quickly heading to her locker, hoping to avoid him...but no such luck in the world of Jonah Hall.....
