"Joe " I whispered

"exactly so why don't you believe me? " he asked . I sighed,

"look I know them okay we've been friends sence we were little kids. " I said and looked over at them. Elyssa was looking at her phone but the Vladimir and Josh were both watching me.

"but that don't mean anything " he said

"fine I will ask Josh. he can't lie. " I said looking back up at him.

"but what if he can " Joe added

"he can't . he hates lieing so he only tells the truth " I said. Joe sighed

"ok " he said and let go of my arm and walked me over to them.

"hey " Elyssa and Vlad. said

"hi bri." Josh said

then Joe whispered in my ear

"ill be right back make it quick. I don't like leaving you alone with them " he pulled back and I turned and looked at him. I nodded and he left.

"what was that about? " Vlad asked

"Vlad it was nothing. Josh can I talk to you?" I asked.

"sure " he said and we walked away from Vlad and Elyssa.

"I was um.. just wondering ... well I'm asking everyone this ..." I said. come on bri. you've already asked the rest of them ....over the phone.

"what is it " he asked

"are you human? " I asked looking at him.

"what!? yes! what else would I be?" he said

"I don't know " I said looking down.

"you asked Vlad and Elyssa too? " he asked

"oh um...." he said. I just looked at him like he was crazy he isn't really something else. he is human he has to be

"what?!? " I said backing away

"bri let me explain " Josh said. I just shook my head and kept walking backwards away from him.

"no listen we didn't tell you because we didn't know how you would react " he said. I just kept shaking my head. this can't be happening. then I walked backwards into someone but they wrapped their arms around me. I looked up. it was Joe.

"stay away from her " Joe said.

"your not human ether Joe " Josh said

"she knows that " Joe said.

"then why is she acting like this? " Josh said.

"Josh just got back to your friends. I have to talk to her " Joe said

"fine " Josh sighed and went back to Vlad. and Elyssa. I turned around.

"I'm sorry " I said.

"don't be I understand why you didn't believe me. I just wish that you believed me from the beginning. I can't believe you thought I'd lie to you " Joe said.

"its because I -" I started to say but Joe put his finger to my lips so I stop talking.

"I know, come on we have to get to class " Joe said. he took my hand and led me inside.

we walked to our first class and sat in back. then Vlad, Josh, and Elyssa walked in and sat in front of us.

Vlad looked like he was mad. Elyssa turned around and said,

"bri please let us explain "

"no you guys lied to me. so don't talk to me " I said she sighed and turned around. we didn't talk really the rest of they day I stayed with Joe and stayed away from them. I can't believe they never told me. I'm gonna have to call them later when Joe ain't around.
