Seasons had past, and life was peaceful in the Forbidden King for now. Things stayed quiet between us. I thought it was best I let her get use to her new world, but enough time has passed. It was time Kïkö and I talked.
"Kïkö," I said. "Come with me to the Imperial study. We must talk."
As she sat down I began to speak, but then she stopped me and began to talk, "Master Shadow, you need to know some things please let me explain everything. I must ...... after your father's death my family and I were imprisoned and made slaves by your brothers for years. My family and I devised a way for me to escape to fulfill my destiny and honor to your family. Shadow, I do love you and I shall never stray from that promise I made to you and your father, my destiny." )
"I understand. I can sense the truth. I can trust you now I know this is fate, not accidental. Then you should know that since I first met you, I fell in love with you Kïkö. Let's make it official, my queen. I need you by my side to rule what was once my father's. When winter comes we shall have a red and white winter wonderland ceremony."
Months had passed, and winter was weeks away. All of a sudden as Shadow and Kikö took their evening walk through the magical garden of the elder spirits, Shadow stop dead in his tracks. His head raised to the skies. His most trusted student appeared and bow.
"Speak my child," Shadow said. "Peace is no more Master. Your brothers have begun to terrorized again."
