8 : job

Giselle's POV

As we all entered the closed stadium, I saw Y/n talking into a bunch of girls in pink track suits. Our color was purple and she's the only purple girl here. The other purple team were LUCY, SF9 and N.Flying.

"From team purple, Aespa" I was startled by the sudden announcement. I forgot we're on live now. I saw Y/n looked at us and I waved at her. She waved back before looking back on her friends, excusing herself then running to us. She took my hand but she stopped, dropping it.

"No Skinships, I forgot" she mumbled and went beside me instead. Karina unnie on her other side and their spaces are much closer than us. Their shoulders are probably touching already.

"Team Purple is now completed. A round of applause to the group and soloist from SM Entertainment" the MC, Leeteuk from SM ofcourse, announced. MYs and Y/n's fans were on the same corner so we can hear them all shouting at once.

We sat infront of where our fans are sitting at and we interacted with them as we wait for Archery. I've seen Karina and Y/n talk alot this time. Are they okay now? Or are they just faking it for publicity?

"Omo, Y/n and Karina!" I heard someone from above called for them. Fansites take many pictures of them, ofcourse. "Giselle! Look here!" I looked at my fansites and ignored the two. I'll deal with it later.

Archery came and Aespa is against the first team, STAYC. Before competing, the groups introduced their selves first.

"Be my AE, Hello we are Aespa" two members introduced themselves before Y/n introduced separately. "Annyeonghaseyo, Y/n-imnida" Y/n simply introduced. She don't have this long introduction since she's just a solo.

The next group to introduce was Stayc. You researched about them and found out it was also their first ISAC.

You weren't nervous, you just came here to enjoy and you know alot about Archery. You took lessons.

"First row is Winter of Aespa, let's watch" the announcer said.

The results were shocking. For a beginner, she scored 6,8 and 7 for her last try. The opposite team scored 8,7 and 7 making them 1 point ahead. Karina stepped up and raised her bow. It wasn't her first time but she played Archery already in schools. She got 9, 8 and a 10 for her last shot. Isa from Stayc, which is Karina's opponent, didn't scored that high. She got 7,7 and 5. Aespa is 6 points ahead.

Giselle's POV

Y/n stood up and brought her bow up the air. She looked very serious as she aimed for the target. When she was about to release the arrow, the MC's microphone ringed an irritating sound that made Y/n let go and her arrow flew over the wall, no score. I looked at the monitor and she looked pissed. She later on spotted the camera and smiled. Her opponent, Seeun from Stayc is now aiming.  As she let go, it hit 10 points that made me really nervous.

"Go Y/n!" Ning cheered as Y/n lifted up her bow once again. The fans followed Ning's cheers and as Y/n let go, the speakers recorded a crack. She got a perfect ten! She hit the monitor! She broke the camera. Leeteuk started shouting in the MC panel aswell as the viewers. The camera was pointed at Y/n and she was smiling proudly. Yes girl, brag about it.

I stood up with Ning and then we watched Seeun's shot. She got 6! That was a relief.

It's Y/n's turn again and it is her last shot. She stretched the bow as the string landed on her lips making it a bit curved. She never closed one of her eyes so maybe her eye sight are healthy.  She let go and the scenario happened again, another perfect it! But this time, the arrow was missing. It actually flew through the camera, not just the lens. I can say she's very well trained.
