A Trip (Slimesicle x Reader) (EDITING)

Chapter 4

Hi guys :) I haven't updated this story since august and I kinda ran out of time and motivation but I'm back to writing and hope you enjoy it!   P.s I'm trying a new thing with these little stars instead of doing an A/n so scroll to the bottom for the notes :)

                                                         Charlie Pov

Me and y/n eyes immediately widened with surprise, not with fear. We weren't scared of Phil, I guess we were just surprised that we were caught this quickly. It was only a few hours into the drive so Phil could easily turn the car back around. 

Y/n poked their head over the backseats, making catching Phil's eye. "If you don't move he won't see you." Techno jokingly spoke, never looking up from his book. Phil's eyes immediately fell on Tommy, instantly knowing he was the cause. Wilbur and ranboo were doing anything to avoid eye contact, knowing they were guilty. Tubbo, just waking up was looking around trying to understand why it was so quiet for once. 

"You guys have 5 seconds to convince me why I shouldn't turn this car around." At this point, I poked my head up. The whole car broke into chaos, Tommy and will making excuses, tubbo admitting the whole plan out of instinct, and Ranboo sitting in the middle of it all not knowing what to do. 

While everyone was "debating" as Tommy called it, Phil nearly crashed into another car. "Ok fine! They can stay, BUT It can't get ANY louder or I'm going to lose the remains of hearing I still have left for this car ride." The whole car immediately ignored the warning with loud celebrations. Me and y/n moved over to where Wilbur was sitting to look at the map. 

"Where to first?" I asked*1  "We are heading to a campsite in California!" Tubbo quickly interrupted "There's a waterfall and HUGE campsites."  Techno also joined the conversation, "To be more specific, we're going to a state park called Burney falls. Near Shasta, you probably know y/n."*2

Of course! Tubbo had told me in the past when I was just learning to paddleboard. "The water is so clear y/n! One thing to be careful of though is the current, I almost got to this giant piece of wood sticking out of the water like over a mile away!" As soon as I heard about this place I immediately googled all about it and the area. I even knew that they had magnetic rocks and some of the best soft serve known to man in the gift shop.

"Alright, everyone! First rest stop of many. *sigh*, No throwing wet paper towels, no stealing toilet paper, and no getting in my car with unwashed hands!" Phil looked back at all of us to explain these instructions knowing it was a small chance anyone would care.  Tubbo and ranboo helped us out of the trunk. *3 

It was finally good to stretch my legs after a few hours. But the rest stop wasn't to boring either. It had some grass parts with covers and picnic tables. Hell, it even had hanging flower pots.  

There were a few people with dogs and one with a golden retriever. I went over to ask if I could pet them and I saw charlie behind me.

Getting out the trunk I saw there was a small gift shop in the parking lot. I waved to the others about it and we all went to check it out. It didn't have much in it but there were some drinks and snacks, along with random merchandise of the area we were in. One thing that caught my eye was a 100 pack of glowworms.  

I bought a (Your favorite drink here)*4 for y/n and a sprite, along with the glow worms. I returned to where y/n was still mindlessly taking in the surroundings. Then walking over to pet a dog.
