"We just want to say,let's be friends again."Heeseung calmly told Eunji,while Jake stood silently beside him.

She smiled at heeseung,who smiled back,nodding in agreement.

"Apology accepted!But I do hope we actually act like friends again.There's no point saying it when you won't do it,right?"She emphasised,staring at both of them,especially Jake who looked away.

"Then it's settled."Heeseung clapped his hands,bringing the girl's attention to him.He smiled at he girl,making her laugh but inside his head,he was thinking otherwise.

Something isn't right.Jake and her just friends?That's not what she wants.Don't do anything silly Eunji.

As Eunji hanged out with the boys,she had overheard Niki and Jay talking about how Jake might have feelings towards y/n.If both have feelings for each other,then they will definitely end up together,it's just a matter of time.She needs to up her game in order to win,waiting is not an option.

With all the boys making up with her and Sunghoon under her control,things will get easier from here.Jay had told her that Jake was trying to befriend her again and true enough,he and heeseung had came to her earlier.

Not to mention,she made friends with Haeri, y/n good companion,who drifted away from her after joining Eunji's group.Since Haeri started dating Huening Kai,another one of y/n friends is on her side too. The main character is the only one left.

She smirked to herself.All she needed was a little pity from him and it'll be able to take her down.

After that day at the locker with Jake,both parties seemed to pretend like nothing happened,no one made the next move.

Y/n was wondering if he did it to tease her or he actually had feelings for her as well.It was confusing since he did not directly say anything.She didn't want to get her hopes up so she pretended like that day never existed.

For Jake,he too was confused as to why the girl acted like nothing happened.Was it because she just saw him as a friend?In order to not make a fool out of himself and to save his ego,he decided to not confess.

As Sunghoon had witnessed them,he seemed to be the most confused.Did he mistaken them?He was sure that it happened as Eunji was there as well.

Why are they making it so hard?

Sunghoon rubbed his temples in frustration.Threatened by Eunji,he couldn't do anything now.Nor will the others,as they all seem to have made up with Eunji,even Heeseung.Since all of them knows she still likes Jake,they wouldn't do anything to crumble the just mended friendship.

"Let's just wish and hope God sends a real Cupid to shoot both of you so I won't have to suffer looking at the hopeless romantics."Sunghoon slumped back into his seat,talking to himself,as he sees the two exchanging a simple greeting before parting ways to their seats.

"Hi" Jake replied to Eunji,not sparing a glance.She appeared at his locker again,making Jake feel annoyed.

"Were you forced by heeseung to befriend me?I can't believe you.If you aren't sincere then there's no point."She sniffed,acting tough.

"It was my choice,not Heeseung's."He corrected,hoping he didn't sound to harsh.

"If you're faking it,at least show some effort would you."She looked down,gathering up the guilt in him.

It was working,using reverse psychology to go against him.

How vulnerable,how gullible

"I-I..."

"Forget it. I just wanted to say hi,but I guess I'm not deserving and worthy of a simple greeting and eye contact from my so called friend."

"Eunji,I-"Jake tried to persuade her but got cut off by her sudden question.He didn't understand why the girl was being so sensitive.Back then,she usually wasn't like that.

"Do you like y/n?Is that why?"

"W-What?"

She chuckled,letting a tear fall.

"At least still be my friend."She wiped her face before leaving.

As soon as she was out of his sight,she checked her reflection for her makeup.Pleased at her performance,she strutted off.

Faking a tear wasn't hard as she had been a child actor,and with that,she easily tricked Jake.

"Time for the final scene."
