The hallways were mostly empty as most students were at the cafeteria munching down the delicious tonkatsu that was only served on Wednesdays.All there was was the endless rows of lockers.
Locker no.100
Another 100 lockers to go.I put my hands in the pockets of my skirt,causally walking towards the end.
There it was,the quiet little corner.It looked dull but still same as ever.Sometimes I forgot that this was a part of the school due to the contrast of the noise levels at the lockers situated nearer to the classrooms.I let my fingers glide over the lockers as I walked past.

Locker no.1
My hands stopped as it brushed my name tag on the cold metal frame.
Swiftly,my fingers unlocked the lock and the door opened,revealing nothing.I stared intensely into the locker,like searching for something in the darkness and depth of it.Snapping out of my thoughts,I shook my head slightly as a sigh escaped my lips.
*clang
The sudden sound of a locker unlocking coming from behind jolted me.
Someone's here?
I frowned at the thought.Turning around immediately to see who it was,my eyes locked with the other pair of eyes.Round with a tint of brown,the beautiful eyes looked at me slightly surprised.I couldn't see myself but I probably had the same expression.The corner wasn't big hence the path that separated both sides of the lockers was quite narrow.That means we were both standing pretty close to each other.None of us moved,eyes still making contact as if it was a staring competition,or perhaps to lost in our own thoughts.
Jake
The boy was slightly taller,about 10cm.He had the locker opened too.An innocent puppy look he had on his face.
"Ehem"He coughed slightly,finally breaking the eye contact,diverting me back to reality.
"Sorry"I apologised,looking away from him.I tried to remain calm but I wouldn't lie that he is hella attractive.Closing my locker quickly,I locked it.Just as I was about to leave he asked,
"That's your locker?"
I looked back at him with my head tilting to one side,trying to figure out his sudden question.
Maybe he's just curious?I mean I would too,barely anyone knew this place.Or maybe he is wondering why is my locker empty
"Yeah,I don't use though."I replied flashing him a friendly smile.
"Why not?"He smiled back,closing his locker and turning to face me completely.
Unnecessary questions
"Isn't it obvious?"He raised an eyebrow,looking at me with confusion.I'm pretty sure he knows,someone like him is quick on getting things.
Mind games.I see...Let's play it then.
"You'll find out after a day or 2".I tried to end our conversation.
He gave another questioning look as he caught onto my signal.Then he stepped forward,coming closer to me but still maintaining that innocent look.Looks like he didn't want to end it there.I stood there unfazed as the gap between us decreased.He noticed my unwavering self and examined my features.Amused.
The smile turned into a smirk as he erased the innocent look.I knew it,I kinda expected it coming.He leaned closer to my ear and whispered in a low voice,
"Then...
use it from now on"
Jake POV
"You'll find out after a day or 2".She said trying to end our conversation and giving me an open statement.
I gave her another questioning look at her unexpected reply.Then I took a step closer to her,maintaining a blank look.She remained in that posture,unfazed.I examined her,trying to find any signs of shock or perhaps shyness that the other girls would have,but nothing.
Interesting
I smirked at her,changing my expression as I leaned closer to her ear.Softly whispering in a low voice,
"Then use it from now on."
I pulled away,glancing at her clueless face before I walked away.
Y/n POV
"What was that?"i mumbled,looking at his back as he walked away like nothing happened.
Recalling his last words,I shuddered.His voice compared to earlier was much colder despite his warm breathe that was against my ear,sending chills down my spine.
