Although most people assume that living alone in a large abandoned house is quite scary, George seemed to get excited at the thought of moving into one. George had always dreamed of moving into this house since he was a child, but never had enough money until now. He finally got the keys to the house, and shook the realtors hand in excitement. He walked up to the front door and unlocked it. George slowly turned the doorknob as it revealed a dusty yet fresh looking home.
"I should probably get to work on cleaning" George said to himself with a sigh. He swept the floors and dusted off the shelves. Once he got upstairs he bumped into a shelf and noticed a book with an interesting label so he grabbed it. The book quickly jerked back to place and a ladder fell from the ceiling. "What the heck.."
George looked at it for a moment in disbelief, than he climbed the ladder leading him into an attic full of old valuables. He looked around and saw boxes full of unique items. As he turned around he noticed something was covered with a large blanket. So being the curious person he is, George walked towards it and slowly lifted the blanket revealing a dirty mirror. "whoa" George said as he coughed, inhaling the dust coming off of the blanket.
George decided to clean the mirror, so he climbed down the ladder carefully to grab the cleaning wipes. Once he got them he went back up to the attic and wiped down the mirror. As he was wiping it, a piece of paper fell onto the floor. George picked up the paper and read it aloud.
"Although heaven is far, it's closer than it seems,"
What could this mean? Was it some kind of message? George was confused as to what it could mean, but he was excited about the mystery it held. He put the paper on a nearby shelf and continued to clean the mirror. George stopped wiping the mirror as it started to glow a bright blinding light. He reached forward to touch it and he fell through the mirror. This lead him to another attic very similar to the one he was just in, except this one seemed nicer.
George stood up and glanced to a nearby shelf that looked the same as the one he left the piece of paper on. He was shocked when he looked up and saw the paper framed and hung on the wall. Where was he? Where had this mirror brought him to?
"Hello??" a distant voice said as George heard footsteps from below him. Shoot someone must have heard him when he fell through the mirror. George quickly jumped up to find somewhere to hide, but the footsteps became louder and more vivid. Struggling to find a place to stay hidden, the mystery figure appeared next to him. "Who are you? What are you doing in my attic?" the tall blonde boy said as he reached to help George off the floor.
"I'm sorry! I was wiping down my mirror and somehow i fell through it an well now im here.." George said.
"That's weird, but um whats your name? I'm Clay but you can call be Dream." Dream replied.
"Oh my name is George, its nice to meet you, but where am I exactly?" George asked Dream as he scratched his neck in confusion.
