Unknown Fear

Oh no! could it get anymore worse she thinks sitting across the table with Ryan. She didn't bother being polite and kept ignoring him. He was an ex Rj of JRS and now worked as a team manager in an IT company. Ryan never lacked in looks, sure he was undoubtedly one of the most good looking guys Nishi had come across in life, later living with him she realized that looks is not everything in a relationship, its beyond that.

Congratulations Nishi on your show, heard its very popular said Ryan. Nishi looked at him smiling and replied yh, it happened all after the bad omen left my life and I suddenly got luck in my favor . Ryan laughs bitterly and says 'still holding grudge against me for breaking up with you! Babes you should know that I never do things impulsively, I really thought about it and saw that I had to take this step to grow in my career, you weren't willing to leave JRS , wanted to stay in that small low pay pathetic job. I had dreams, big dreams so I did what was best for me.

She looked at him in disgust and just walked away. In the restroom the humiliation she'd gone through all came back flooding, how she was looked down by some and how some gave her that pity look. She didnt realize that tears were rolling down her face, it had smudged her mascara. Quickly she took a wipe out cleaned it. Suddenly the lights went off Nishi didnt like the creepy feeling that clogged her. It was dark, she looked for her phone and realized she left it on the table. Cursing herself she tried to find the door, but she found it locked. Now, the fear started to grip her heart slowly paralyzing her sense.

Aaditya had an evening flight so to relax he straight went to Loft38 after freshening up. He was tired but didn't wanna stay home. As he entered the bar he saw his team having drinks and making noises. He smiled at their carefree attitude and sat nursing his drink in the corner table.

Back to Nishi..
She couldn't get her self to speak, it was dark in there and pin drop silent, she could hear the tap's leaking. It was difficult to breath and as she struggles, suddenly, hears an approaching footstep behind her. The person in there with her whistled, that frightened her even more. She was sweating in fear and now her face was covered with sweat and frightful tears.

Stranger...

How long I have waited to get this close to you , find you alone, talk to you, hug you, caress you, he thought. He puts his arm around her waist pulling her towards him, he could hear her heart beat, rapidly beating. She smelt of perfume mixed with her feminine fragrance. It was so intoxicating that he wanted to turn her around and kiss her lips. Lowering his head, resting his chin on her shoulder he whispers close into her ears' I Love You Nishi , you're mine only mine'.

Helpless sacred alone..
Please please please someone please help me, let this be a bad dream, it can't be happening to me! were her constant thoughts running through her mind . As the man put his arm around her waist pulling her towards him she tries to struggle , get her self to talk, yell, screem anything. Nishi shivers as he breaths on her, making her think of all the bad things that could happen to her. Then he whispered in her ears, that did it. She managed to scream her lungs out in fear and faints.

Aaditya was coming out of the men's restroom, when he heard a scream. He ran immediately to the door from where the scream had come and opened it. The door was jammed as he tried to open but couldn't, he sees a fire extinguisher next to the door, he takes that and hits the door with it and breaks it open. He saw Nishi lay there on the floor unconscious. Hearing the bang sound people gathered there wondering. Nida and others too were there and saw Aaditya lifting Nishi in his arms coming out of the restroom.

Hospital..
Nishi was groggy, she tried opening her eyes and found her head heavy as if, it would explode any minute. Slowly she managed to open her eyes and saw Nida sleeping on the couch next to the bed she lay in. She looked around and realized she was in hospital, while she tried to get up she saw the IV attached and gave up on getting up. Her throat felt soar and dry, she wanted some water and looked around. Due to weakness her eyes sight was hazy , a huge male figure approached her, she was about to scream when he spoke, calm down Ms Roy its me Aaditya.

He helped her to sitting position and gave her some water to drink. She looked at him confused and remembered what had happened before she fainted. Closing her eyes she started sobbing silently. Aaditya couldn't bare to see her like this and suddenly puts his arm her pacifying. She didn't realize until a few minutes later that she sobbed hugging Aaditya. Nida woke up and saw the two of them holding each other. Not knowing who would be more embarrassed she went back pretending to be asleep.

Nishi was hospitalized and Nida stayed with her, Aaditya visited her daily though none spoke about the incident that got her here. He wanted her to completely heal and feel at ease before she told him about it. During his visit he would sit quietly looking at her while she slept peacefully. One evening Nida had gone home to fetch few things for them while Aaditya stayed with Nishi. He was checking his mail when Nishi started screaming in her sleep. Aaditya quickly got to her and tried waking her up and calmed her down.

Two hours later*
Aaditya was restlessly pacing his room in anger like a wild irritated lion. He recalled how scared and weak Nishi looked. He punched the wall in frustration feeling ridiculously helpless. He wanted tear that bastard apart with his bare hand. How dare he puts hand on her, make her cry so miserably. Combing his hair with his hand in frustration he takes out his phone and summons Roger to see him immediately with the CCTV footage of the bar that night . It was 3 in the morning when Roger left his home, Aaditya was going through the tape when he saw a guy enter the ladies restroom a couple of minutes later after Nishi. He wondered how come Nishi hadn't seen the bastard. He had covered his face with a surgical mask and wore a black cap, there was no way he or anyone could see his face.

He kept watching the tape again and again to see if he could even find a single thing to latch on the bastard. No matter how many ever times he watched he failed to see the evidence. Tired, he lay back closing his eyes.
Flashback..
I didn't know what to do, I was frightened I hate darkness. I have Nyctophobia Aaditya, I really froze in there. Then he whispered and I was petrified, I just screamed remember nothing after that. I feel so helpless and low, you can't even imagine what I'm going through right now. Knowing I'm not alone here helps me sleep but now he's taken over my dreams. I can't handle this I really can't and bursts out crying.

Aaditya didn't know how to calm her anymore , the strong independent lively girl he knew was emotionally messed up and it troubled him a lot. Not knowing what else to do Aaditya holds her face looking straight into her eyes and say Nishi , I won't let anything happen to you I promise. Just concentrate to get well , you'll always find me by your side. Nishi looks at him with tears in her eyes and nods her head. The next second Aaditya placed his lips on hers and kisses her very gently. Was it shock or stress, unable to figure it out Nishi just closes her eyes and just surrenders. Both spoke nothing for a couple of minutes as if they were trying to analyze what just had happened.
Opening his eyes Aaditya sits up straight. He hadn't planned on kissing her yet, however he couldn't control his feelings for Nishi. He wanted to take her in arms and wipe away that traumatic incident as if it had never happened.

Sitting in his studio He thought of Nishi. It was 4 days since that incident. If she hadn't screamed like a fool he would have made her his. He sat back in his chair sipping his drink and thinks the first time he saw her.

January 10th 2016...
Anuj was getting late and was in hurry, as it was the last day to submit his project at the University. He had worked really hard and alone unlike his fellowmates who worked in teams. Being a small town guy and shy, it wasn't easy for Anuj to mingle with the outgoing Bangalore city crowd. As he stepped out of the British Library he saw it was raining heavily, his heart sunk thinking of the consequences. As he stood there silently watching the rain, someone pass by him like a windy breeze. His heart fluttered when their arms touched, he turned around to look at the person and the world around him stilled.
