Chapter 4

Arora's POV:

A loud splash came from behind us causing us all to jump

"Holy shit what happened to you?"

Bug eyes yelled pushing past everybody to get to the kid. We brought him to the pharmacy and sat him down of a crate that was in the ally right beside it.

"No but like seriously what happened to you?"

I said, gesturing to his bloody shirt.

"Bowers."

He replied, guilt in his voice. Everyone's eyes turned to me and my eyes widened. 

"What- I- I don't-"

Fanny pack cut me off

"Great now not only are we friends with a booger brain but a traitor too."

He crossed his arms in front of him and looked to me. Bug eyes and Bills faces were plastered with anger. While Noodle head just stood there confused.

"Guys I didn't know he was going to do that."

I said stepping back

"Well t-t-tell your p-p-psychopath of a b-b-brother to leave us t-the hell alone!"

Bill stuttered.

"He wont listen to me. He's already pissed that I talked to you guy's yesterday, what makes you think that if I tell him to leave you alone he wont be?"

I asked putting my hands up in defense.

"You should probably go."

Noodle head said to me. Keeping his head down. I scoffed and said,

"You know what? Maybe my brother was right. Maybe you are just a flamer. And you Bill, Georgie's dead. Stop telling yourself he isn't. Oh and fanny pack by Barrens you not only touched the Grey water, but poison Oak. So be safe with that."

I walked out of the ally, flipping them off before biking back to my house. I saw a cop car in my driveway and looked at my watch, seeing it was 2:41. I muttered a 

"Fuck me"

Under my breath and put my bike on the side of the house and walked inside, pulling up my pants slightly as they started to fall down. I didn't bother to take my shoes off as I walked through the house. When I couldn't find my father anywhere I went up the stairs to my bedroom only to find him sitting on my bed with a beer bottle in his hand. Really? He couldn't even wait until happy hour.

"Finally your home. What did I tell you about leaving when I'm not here, Arora I swear to god if I find out you were hanging with any boys I will kill you with my bare hands you got it?"

"Yes dad."

I said standing in the middle of m room, my father was drunk out of his mind and that didn't help his abusiveness. Hw stood up and walked over to me. Grabbing my wrist and twisting it. I winced in pain as he yelled

"Look at me when I speak to you!"

He let go of my writ and slapped me in the face, when I fell from the force he kicked me twice before holding me against the wall by my neck. As I struggled for air he smiled, And punched me in the face three times before dropping me and walking out. My lip was busted and my nose was bleeding. A blackeye was starting to form. I then gathered all the strength I had left in my body to grab a bag and put my Walkman, my pencil and drawing paper, and a blanket inside of it. I dropped the bag out my window before I stepped out and jumped landing in the bushes below. I got on my bike and turned on my Walkman and flashlight. Biking to the first place I could think of. The Quarry.
