Noelle pov

'Why wont she talk to me anymore....?' I sighed while drinking the water in my cup.

I was sitting at the dinner table alone, pondering about what I had done to upset (y/n).

She seems so depressed lately, I wonder what I could do to make her feel better. Maybe I should just confront her? I sighed again. This is stressing me out.

You know what? I will talk to her!

I get up from my seat and made my way upstairs to our shared room. Opening the doors and finding (y/n) laying on the bed eyes open, staring at the ceiling.

She looked at me as I closed the door to our room and sat on our bed.

"What do you need?" Over time (y/n) had stopped addressing me as noelle-sama and was more causal, I wasn't mad though. It made me feel normal. She was colder then before though, which saddened me. But not for long. I will confront her. Right here, right now.

"I want to talk to you..." (y/n) sat up and stared into my eyes, "and what would my princess want to talk about?" I blushed a little at the nick name. (Y/n) looked like she kinda regretted calling me that, but only for a second.

"Idiot! Dont call me that, hmph!" I looked away, 'that name is just too embarrassing!"

No ones pov

"Ahem, as for what I want to talk about. Well...you've been really distant recently. Is there something going on?" Noelle frowned as she looked at (y/n).

'I didnt think she would noticed...but she did. Maybe there's still hope...' (y/n) had a shocked expression and glanced at the sheets, not wanting to look noelle in the eye.

"what makes you think that?...haha" (y/n)'s bangs covered her expression as she was still staring at the sheets.

"Well, you almost never eat dinner with the black bulls or ever talk to me anymore...(y/n), didnt you say you'd always be there for me(holy shit my hands r shaking super badly rn, probably bc I drank like 6 cups of coffee today and its 1:30am LOL)..." noodle(LMAO IT CORRECTED TO NOODLE IM PISSING MYSELF) noelle* looked down, it was obvious that she was sad.

(Y/n) quickly glanced back up as she heard the last part of what Noelle said. "Yeah I always am here for you. But you dont need me anymore do you? You have asta..." (y/n) glanced back down feeling tears starting to well up in her eyes but didnt fall.

Noelle looked at (y/n) as if she were crazy. "How could you say that! I always need you!" Noelle hated saying these type of things but she didnt care right now, (y/n) is the only thing that mattered.

"No you dont..." at this point tears were falling down (y/n)'s cheeks.

Noelle finally had enough and grabbed (y/n)'s shoulders, making (y/n) look up at her. The tears in her eyes made noelle weak and look at (y/n) with a sad expression.

"I really do need you...you've always been there for me, I wouldn't know what to do without you! And if I'm being honest, I've been stressed out about you not being around, I've been so worried, (y/n)!" Noelle's hands were shaking as she held (y/n)'s shoulders, she almost had tears rolling down her cheeks aswell, but tried to hold them in.

(Y/n) pov

I'm such an idiot aren't I? I let out a shaky sigh and tried to stop my tears. "I-I'm sorry noelle, I'm such an idiot! I'm sorry. I'll be there. I'll be there for you! Please forgive me for being so stupid and selfish..." I sniffed and whipped my nose with my sleeved arm.

Noelle looked at me with tears streaming down her face and a smile. "You really mean it? As long as you're okay, I will forgive you. I'm also sorry for not going to you sooner, I didnt know what to do- i-" I cut noelle off and quickly hugged her. She souldnt be apologizing for any of this. I just misunderstood.

"A-ah!" Noelle looked flustered and was shaking a little. 'she probably wasn't excepting a hug...maybe I can spook her more and give her a kiss...' I smirked to myself. "W-what? Get off me, idiot!" Noelle tried shoving me off but my grip was stronger.

I gave a cunning smirk as I wrapped my arms around her shoulders and hold her close, giving her a kiss on the cheek. I pulled away to give her space.

"H-huh..." noelle looked like she was gonna pass out. And that's exactly what she did.

"Oh shit..." maybe I went overboard with her, we haven't hugged in a while so-

I picked her up from the awkward position she was in and placed her on the bed properly, tucking her in.

I gave a happy smile, finally glad that I got this sorted out. I should probably sleep too, all of those tears left me tired, I haven't cried like that in a while.

I layed beside noelle and gave a content sigh, wrapping my arms around her waist and cuddling into her soft chest. man. This is the life. With a light blush on my cheeks I fall asleep with noelle in my arms.
